I am a 41 year old CNA/Nursing Student/Breast Cancer survivor and I'm also a mother of 3 wonderful daughters. I became a caregiver because I love helping others and caring for those who can't perform or need assistance with their daily activities. When I was a young girl my mother was diagnosed with MS and my siblings and I were responsible for helping her with her daily activities and from that moment forward I knew that was my calling. In the past I have taken care of several loved ones and others until they're last moment here and thats what I feel like I am here to do, its my passion. I love being able to make a difference in someone else's life and help make them happy.

I started caring for both my parents but at different times when they were diagnosed with cancer yrs ago, my dad saw how I was with mom & from that time i also cared for him, he knew it was my calling & he was comfortable in my care. Then just within the past year I was able to care for my mother in law as well. I just feel compassionate about caring for others & it's such a rewarding experience everyday to know I'm making a difference in someone's life! The most rewarding experiences I recall is when new accomplishments are made & to see their faces show such excitement. There's always something to be thankful for at the end of the day,

As a Certified MedTech I have expertise in serving chronically ill patients by assisting them with Medication management, daily living activities and general household tasks, grooming and bathing assistance, house hold tasks, feeding assistance, I also have 1yr 8 month in healthcare Administration .As my resume states I have worked in the field and the skills that I gained are compassion, time management, effectiveness, patient focus, and provide reassurance to the client that I am willing and capable to assist and provide the most effective care and support.

I have seen and understand firsthand how life can transition from being independent to becoming codependent on daily needs. I became a Certified Nursing Aid in 2007 however, I have worked in-home care since 1997. I take pride in my work. I have provided services of care and assistance in the areas of activities for daily living such as Dressing, Grooming, Toileting, Preparing meals, Lite Housekeeping, incontinence, minor household management, medication organization, which are all done with quality care. I enjoy taking my clients out on social outings, grocery shopping, lunch, errands, etc. I Am also able to provide dependable transportation to and from doctor appointments. I have experience in being an advocate for my clients at doctor appointments. I can fill in the gaps between the Doctor My client and family members in regards to communication and Care plan. I am observant dependable and caring when it comes to client/patient needs. I enjoy providing quality custom-made care.

While working with EHM Senior Solutions, my long-term clients strongly preferred that no substitute caregiver be assigned in my absence. For clients requiring 24-hour care with multiple caregivers, I was the only caregiver asked to remain on assignment once 24-hour services were no longer needed. One of my most meaningful experiences involved a client placed on hospice care and given just three days to live. After one month under my care, he graduated from hospice and went on to live for an additional two years, reaching the age of 100. This experience reflects my deep commitment to compassionate, consistent, and high-quality care.

Because I really care for people I feel I can really help this way. What I really like about it is like you can express to them how you really feel about what you do and how you care for them.
