I'm a very loving and kind hearted person and very patient. When I was 18 years old, my grandma got sick and none of my siblings would take care of her so I pretty much had to do everything for her and that's what Attracted me to being a caregiver plus I love the smile it put on someone's face when you make their day... something I am proud of is buying my very first home at the age of 20...

I am at a place in my life where I have found that giving back is what life is actually all about. I have a high level of integrity and apply my very best at anything that I do. I have always been told that I have a genuine personality and am easy to relate to. I try to carry kindness and be of service everywhere I go, because you never know what someone else is going through. These are all reasons why I am drawn to caregiving. I also enjoy baking, conversating (getting others to open up), and walking or anything to do with the outside. One of my proudest achievements was putting myself through phlebotomy school especially when the odds seemed to be stacked against me (which also means that I have medical experience and have been CPR certified).

I have been in healthcare for awhile now. I've worked with dementia patients, hospice patients, and most diseases or disabilities you can think of. Healthcare and assisting people in general has been what I've wanted to do since I was a child and I'm now fulfilling that dream. Taking care of those who once took care of us! I enjoy being a caregiver because knowing the fact that I can make someone's life a little easier by assisting them with simple tasks makes me feel so much joy. I truly love what I do.

My name is Margaret and Id like to tell you a little about myself. I've always been the type that enjoys helping others. I found it rewarding for the heart and soul. It really takes someone special to become a caregiver. Someone with a big heart who understands the trials and tribulations of someone who needs help in their daily lives. That can help through the good days and the bad days. At a young age my mother became ill and that's when I started to learn about caregiving. How to talk to someone who's having a hard time accepting help that's needed. How to bath and wash. Bathroom duties. Communication through all the things I do. I find it that talking to a client and really getting to know that person makes a major difference in how to handle their life with them. I'm not here to treat anyone like a dollar sign. I want to help make a difference or help ease the frustration of life as it comes. One of my proudest achievements in my life is finding God. And being a proud mother of two wonderful boys. I have met amazing people on my work as a caregiver. That's my goal in life is to help those that need someone.

I grew up taking care of my mother, and since then I knew that giving care to others would be fulfilling. I enjoy getting to know patients and connect with them and a great supporter.

As a caregiver I am very gifted in relating with elderly people especially with dementia. I am very attentive to their needs and am able to communicate easily and comfortably. I enjoy interacting with their favorite interest or hobbies.

When I was younger I worked each summer at a Nursing home and loved it, now that I have a child raised and settled in life more I would love to get back into it...I have always been in retail or manufacturing jobs, now I would like to try something rewarding again.I do care for an ill family member now .

I am a hard worker and really care about people. I was a home health aid for 7 months and I enjoy helping people. Being a caregiver is important to me because it gives me the chance to help other people and I love to meet new people.
