I've been in caring giving for 7 years now I started out working as a childcare teacher I got promoted into office administration I graduated high school got my diploma I went into healthcare what I enjoy about caring is that I can be a great companion to my patients it makes my day when they smile an I know that all my tasks are completed I feel that whatever you put your mind to you can do give your very best always strive for successful set goals an career objectives don't ever give up I always tell myself that I want to lead projects an become more successful an teach others all the knowledge that I have so that they can be successful

Hey I'm sharmain family call me Tootie. I'm 34 years old. I've been in the CNA field since 2008. Soon as I graduated high school I got my Medical Assistant Diploma and been in the field since. I've stepped a way to find other careers I like as I'm doing hair cooking and working with electronics. I'm not much of a talker but when I do I can make a full room laugh I love to be goofy I do have 3 boys witch my oldest two days ago walked into adult hood. I love sports and love to cook and do art work.

I was the only girl in my family, and I lost my mom ten years ago and I feel that I did not had enough time to care for her, so I like giving my services to the elderly because I see them like my mom. 1. I decided to work as a caregiver because I could be flexible with working hours and I am a Kansas certified nursing assistant. 2. I like being a caregiver that I can choose flexible hours. I am a student and I need a flexible part-time job to work. I also like helping people maintain their independence and dignity with high quality care. 3. I became a certified nursing assistant in Kansas in 4/24/2015 after passing the Kansas CNA exam with a 93%. (I also passed the CNA class with A grade from Kansas College of Nursing in Lenexa, Kansas. It took me one month to complete the CNA training at Kansas College of Nursing. I earned the CNA certificate of training from Kansas College of Nursing after completion.) I have 1 week experience of clinical at a nursing home (long-term health care facility, specifically, Indian Creek Healthcare, Overland Park, KS) and earned my NATCEP Task checklist that verifies that I can assist with moving a resident from wheelchair to a bed safely, change briefs after incontinence, assist to the bathroom, make beds, give showers, etc. Note: I can only remind the resident to take medications. I am also a piano accompanist at Korean United Presbyterian Church of Kansas from 2014 to current. I can play the piano for my clients. 4. I am a male. I am a devout Christian. Having worked with a wide range of afflictions such as cancer, Alzheimer, Dementia, Diabetes's, Parkinson's, hospice and more I have found building a client relationship with the whole being rather than disease focused creates a mutual trust and respect. Always a learning experience is gained through time spent. I provide medication management, light housekeeping, meal preparation, bathing assistance in working with family to provide a custom plan which best benefits the client. As my experience has became varied, so has the process of care and relationships as well.

I became familiar with this work while in college. My grandmother had alzheimers and I cared for her throughout college and until she passed. I've been back in this field for about 5 years now and absolutely love this work.
