Hey I'm sharmain family call me Tootie. I'm 34 years old. I've been in the CNA field since 2008. Soon as I graduated high school I got my Medical Assistant Diploma and been in the field since. I've stepped a way to find other careers I like as I'm doing hair cooking and working with electronics. I'm not much of a talker but when I do I can make a full room laugh I love to be goofy I do have 3 boys witch my oldest two days ago walked into adult hood. I love sports and love to cook and do art work.

What's makes a great Caregiver is someone that has compassion for what they do. That comes with being honest, genuine, patient, and loving. I believe I am all those and more. I always try to connect with people, make memories and become a part of their life. I love to read, write, and I absolutely love puzzles. I have been a certified nursing assistant for a year now, with that CNA license I also carry a certified medication aides license giving me the ability to administer medication as well. I am going to school at JCCC and I do work as well. Mostly during the day. I've had multiple different kinds of experience with allot of people. I have had experience with residents that have had a g-tube, I have personal experience when it comes to that. I also have experience with trachea, a colostomy, someone being paralyzed, and also residents that have Dementia. I love my job and what I do. Being able to make memories with those that I see everyday makes my heart glow. The achievement that I am most proud of is escaping a harsh environment with my child by my side. And finding a passion I long for which is making others smile. Doing the best I can as a mother, a caregiver. And a friend.

I am a very caring person who has an excellent work ethic, pays attention to detail, can multitask well, keeps calm in stressful situations, and a very good listener. I work in a pharmacy currently and really try to build a relationship as much as I can with patients, but I would love to do a lot more. I will care for people at their home to really build a relationship and be a companion to someone who might be lonely. I am starting school at Johnson county community college to become a registered nurse and start my cna certification in October of this year. I would love to build homecare experience this way!

I was the only girl in my family, and I lost my mom ten years ago and I feel that I did not had enough time to care for her, so I like giving my services to the elderly because I see them like my mom. I also like giving my services to those who are not able to care for themselves because it is a blessing from God to give services to tho who can not help themselves. I also like giving my services the the elderly because one day I will need the same services they need. So if it is not me to provide those services to them, who else will do it. It starts with me first.

Agreeableness On basis of these four and of course many be more, I have cared for the elderly over a period of 10 years. It is a such humbling experience and a great humility to serve a fellow mankind. I like it and respect what I do. I cared for people with alzheimer or dementia in general. I live at overland park. I respect people I care for together with their families. Am a non smoker, joyful person and I try my best to keep my clients satisfied and comfortable with the care I provide. That is what makes me proud. The greatest achievement is when i took care of my own mother after she had a stroke.

My name is Lucinda (Cindy). I worked in care homes taking care of elderly residents for 27 years. I also worked at a hospital as a CNA for four years. And I recently worked as a DSP in a group home setting for special needs clients. Unfortunately I had to quit because the schedule no longer was working for me. I enjoy helping and caring for people. It is something I have done most of my life.

I enjoy working with people and most enjoy jobs where you have one-on-one interaction with others.Am enjoying taking care of elder family members and would like to help others in this way. I love older adults and feel you can get along well with a variety of elders.
