I am a caring compassionate person. I have worked in nursing homes and inhome care for about 5 years. In home care is my passion. I love helping others in any way I can. I help seniors cope with their condition while maximizing their capabilities I can help meet a variety of care needs related to Alzheimer's disease, dementia, arthritis, Parkinson's, diabetes, depression, and other conditions. I have over 10 yrs of experience caring for seniors and their families. I have provide the highest quality of care--the kind of care we would want for our own parents, spouse or grandparents. I am committed to not just capable care, but compassionate care and along with Companionship that we all need. Here are some basic caregiver job responsibilities: Change linens and make beds Prepare and plan meals (including clean-up) Help with walking and light exercise Plan ahead for future meals, check expiration dates on food Do laundry (may include light ironing) Light housekeeping duties (such as vacuuming and dusting) Assist with dressing, grooming and bathing Take out the trash Run small errands (pick up prescriptions, go to the bank, etc.) Remind when to take medications Engage in mental and physical exercises Escort to appointments (doctor, physical therapy, hair salon, etc.) Organize mail and maintain a schedule/calendar Escort to religious services Engage in regular activities (talking, games, etc.) Provide companionship Record daily care notes Make note of any significant changes in the client to the agency/service

I am a very caring, responsible and respectful caregiver. I love to help those in need. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is being able to help patients live life to their full capabilities and help them with their daily needs.

The most rewarding things about being a caregiver is the fact that I will be able to help others on a daily basis. I personally started caregiving 5 years ago when a very close family member had a stoke. I cared for her until her passing. After caring for her I realized I loved making a difference in someone's life, so I made a career with home health. The laughs and the things that me and clients achieve are irreplaceable to me. I'm very experienced with multiple types of needs such as bed bound, dementia and Alzheimer's, ADLs, recovering patients, transportation, and even just being there for them!

1. Naturally I am a very nurturing person, Ive been in the medical field for geriatrics as well as for MRDD. This comes natural to me and I enjoy it. 2. This is my calling. 3. I find helping anyone so rewarding, I go home at the end of the day thankful. It makes me feel great to offer my services where they are needed. 4. I'm very proud of having achieved my LPN license and would love to further it.

I have a passion to help others. I love helping others. I took care of my aunt with dementia for 8 years. sometimes very demanding but worth it. Also worked as a EKG/EEG tech for past 14 years. I just retired from the hospital and plan on spending 6 months in Ohio and in Fla. where my home is.

I GENUINELY LOVE THE HEALTH FEILD AND TAKING CARE OF PATIENTS. I HAVE HELPED MY FAMILY TO TAKE CARE OF OTHER FAMILY MEMBERS AND FRIENDS SINCE I WAS YOUNG AND STILL DO SO TO THIS DAY. I PRIDE MYSELF IN HELPING OTHERS THAT ARE LESS FORTUNATE THAN ME BECASUE YOU NEVER KNOW WHEN YOU YOURSELF MAY BE IN THE SAME SITUATION.
