I've been a caregiver for about 14 years now. It started when my grandpa had cancer and I wanted to make sure he got the best care till the end. I just started school at UMA in 2020. The number one thing I love about being a caregiver is that I get to listen to most of my patients old stories from their childhood which is my favorite The second thing would that I know for a fact that they are getting the best care during my shift.

I personally started caregiving 5 years ago when a very close family member had a stoke. I cared for her until her passing.
