My personality traits I have that I consider myself to be a good caregiver would be I'm very compassionate for people, I have patience, and I have a great sense of humor to make them laugh when they sad What attracted me to caregiving is the heart that I have to help people and caring about them & also wanting to figure out a solution to what wrong with someone. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is making the clients feel good about themselves while I'm caring for them knowing that they are in good hands make they lives easier. A achievement im proud of I'll say as a caregiver is being awarded best caregiver that's let's me know that I'm doing my job well and making my clients happy and feel loved and supported knowing that they have a good person like me on they side to take care of them that's one achievement I'm proud of myself.

I grew up helping take care of my grandma who's wheelchair bound, so that's what motivated me to get my CNA license. I was a CNA for over 13 years, and I have worked in nursing homes and did home health jobs. Hi there. My name is Breanna, but you can call me Bre. Prior to caregiving, I was in the US Army as a Religous Affairs Specialist. After the army I had no idea what I wanted to do, I found a caregiving job in Austin, TX. I absolutely fell in love with it. I adore getting to know people's life and past and even getting to know their family members. I have a great heart and I'm very passionate at what I do. My greatest accomplishment was when I worked with a 104 year old who become my best friend, she would always come to me anytime she had a problem because she knew I would figure it out. When I moved from Austin to Fort Worth, she would call me everyday and tell me to come back. It made me happy I had such an impact on her life! I'm happiest when working as a caregiver.

15 years being a caregiver

Hi, I have been a Caretaker for 40 Years and to this day I Love It. I like the feeling of being trusted with someone most Dearest. There Mom and Dad or someone they Love. I love working it out to make everyone I can at Peace. OK, It sometime don't turn out the way I plan but I am OK with it as long as I know I did my Very Best. I have worked in Nursing Homes which is were I started out. Hospitals, Assisted Living, EEG Tech in Hospital. House Parent for MHMR. Now that I am 62 I only work with one at a time. Favorite color is pink & red , no kids , birthday is October 18th , I like to hang with family & friends & travel when I can . I like being a caregiver I have been wanting to do this type of work since I was 21 & I definitely enjoy doing it .
