I have always been drawn to being a caregiver because I have a need to make a difference in somebody's life that is at a disadvantage. I have done a wide range of caregiving over the years. I have done some in-home care for medically fragile patients. I have worked with students in the classroom that had disabilities limited to wheelchairs and needing assistance on all levels. But the main thing that I enjoy is the connections that I've made an impact in somebody's life for the better. Knowing that somebody is looking forward to seeing me makes me get up every morning. A personal achievement that I am proud of is parenting three children. I have two teenagers and young adult child and they are my world.

Hello, my name is Michael, and I've been in the care giving field since 2010. Being a care giver wasn't something I ever saw myself doing, but after getting a job to support myself in college, I found that it was something I wasn't just naturally great at, but that I enjoyed doing as well. Meeting people of different ages and backgrounds over the years has been such an amazing experience for me. I just love being able to get to know individuals, and being a light for them in an otherwise difficult world. I'm not the most outgoing person around, but I do have a knack for building deep relationships with those whom I care for. I've had more than one job where I come into work and I have 2 or 3 people immediately shout, "Michael is heeere!" It's such an amazing feeling when that happens, and I know it helps brighten up both their day and mine. I'm also someone who holds professionalism in the highest regard. As much as I enjoy building relationships with others, I always maintain those professional boundaries. I do my absolute best for those I work with, but I also realize that confidentiality is an extremely big deal, and that keeping their personal life separate from mine is of the utmost importance. As for my interests, I'm someone who enjoys reading, watching movies, gaming, learning about history, traveling, sports, cooking, and going on walks. I am hoping that after reading this that you will consider me when trying to fill the role of a care giver for yourself or a loved one. I have experience with just about every major disability out there, as well as a variety of medical equipment and medication administration. I even have experience when it comes to handling personal finances. Currently I am seeking something full time (30+ hours), but I'm open to part time work if it fits into my schedule. Hi, my name is Angie. I have been in the nursing industry for over 20 years. I began at age 20 as a CNA 2 working in a nursing and memory care setting. I later worked 7 years fulltime in the ICU. I spent a few years working in labor and delivery and that helped me decide I wanted to make a difference and help others try to keep their independence by staying in their own home. I was absolutely not happy in 2012 when my dad was in a SNF and the care was not desired. He passed away at my home comfortably. I am a strong advisor for seniors and I am good with difficult clients and family members. I have a current CPR, BLS, 1 st Aid, food handling card and am hospice certified. I have reliable transportation, insurance and enjoy running errands, companionship, cooking, light housekeeping and overall helping others. I have excellent references and am seeking 1 full time position with a lot of hours or 2 part time. Ideally I would love a live in situation. My location shows Aumsville. I also have an apartment in Sherwood so the PDX, Salem and Albany are fine as long as it's a good fit
