I am a loving caring person. I do everything the best that I can and I gave more myself . I am dependable and reliable . And above all things I am Godly fearing person. I am a great encourager to my patient or my client giving them the best option always stay positive. I enjoyed most of my time is cooking a healthy food and eat lunch together and chatting and visiting and walking and listening a story to tell with my patients or my clients. My personal achievement that I am proud of is that I make my patients or clients smile and happy even things are difficult with them and then when you received an appreciation of what you did for them.

We were live in caregivers for some dear friends of ours until they passed away in their home. I believe the only way to become a great caregiver is to be willing to learn from your client. Hello, my name is Michael, and I've been in the care giving field since 2010. Being a care giver wasn't something I ever saw myself doing, but after getting a job to support myself in college, I found that it was something I wasn't just naturally great at, but that I enjoyed doing as well. Meeting people of different ages and backgrounds over the years has been such an amazing experience for me. I just love being able to get to know individuals, and being a light for them in an otherwise difficult world. I'm not the most outgoing person around, but I do have a knack for building deep relationships with those whom I care for. I've had more than one job where I come into work and I have 2 or 3 people immediately shout, "Michael is heeere!" It's such an amazing feeling when that happens, and I know it helps brighten up both their day and mine. I'm also someone who holds professionalism in the highest regard. As much as I enjoy building relationships with others, I always maintain those professional boundaries. I do my absolute best for those I work with, but I also realize that confidentiality is an extremely big deal, and that keeping their personal life separate from mine is of the utmost importance. As for my interests, I'm someone who enjoys reading, watching movies, gaming, learning about history, traveling, sports, cooking, and going on walks. I am hoping that after reading this that you will consider me when trying to fill the role of a care giver for yourself or a loved one. I have experience with just about every major disability out there, as well as a variety of medical equipment and medication administration. I even have experience when it comes to handling personal finances. Currently I am seeking something full time (30+ hours), but I'm open to part time work if it fits into my schedule. I'm a calm, compassionate, resourceful person in my late 30's. For myself, I enjoy daily exercise, and preparing home cooked meals, and having a work-life balance. I recently helped with a historic building National Register application for a building in downtown Stayton, and am new to town. My mother lives in Salem. Last year I completed an Americorps VISTA volunteer term, enjoying the Rocky Mtn. area of Colorado. For fun, I like dancing, travel, practicing Spanish, and being on my bicycle. I am seeking part-time work, to go along with my not-for-profit job. I enjoy caregiving situations for the opportunity to slow down, practice patience, and interacting with people that often have really interesting stories, histories, or snippets of rememberance. Back in my college days I worked in a residential care facility for people with various developmental disabilities, so I learned about safe body mechanics of lifting, toileting, and helping with personal care there. Since then, I've had a business as a massage therapist, so I am cognizant of joint, mobility, and musculoskeletal relationships, and glad to encourage clients to complete stretches or strengthening that may have been prescribed to them. I am very comfortable with bodies, and feel a sense of reverence engaging in physical care, no matter the degree of function. I am finessed at preparing foods appropriate for specific dietary needs, and I enjoy cooking, so if your family needs that kind of support, I'm glad to help. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is connecting in a healthy way to the sense that life is short, we all will age (if we're lucky!), and how important it is to aim for high quality life, and appreciate it when we succeed.

Hi, my name is Angie. I have been in the nursing industry for over 20 years. I began at age 20 as a CNA 2 working in a nursing and memory care setting. I later worked 7 years fulltime in the ICU. I spent a few years working in labor and delivery and that helped me decide I wanted to make a difference and help others try to keep their independence by staying in their own home. I was absolutely not happy in 2012 when my dad was in a SNF and the care was not desired. He passed away at my home comfortably. I am a strong advisor for seniors and I am good with difficult clients and family members. I have a current CPR, BLS, 1 st Aid, food handling card and am hospice certified. I have reliable transportation, insurance and enjoy running errands, companionship, cooking, light housekeeping and overall helping others. I have excellent references and am seeking 1 full time position with a lot of hours or 2 part time. Ideally I would love a live in situation. My location shows Aumsville. I also have an apartment in Sherwood so the PDX, Salem and Albany are fine as long as it's a good fit
