What drove me to be a passionate caregiver, was the influence of my mother and how she effected many families lives. Although, I have 2.5 years experience legally working as a caregiver/nurses aide, I have had experience going to work with my mother in my early years of high school. Also, I have many family members/close family friends who have struggled with disabilities, such as Alzheimer's, dementia, healing from surgeries, MR, paralyzed, in wheel chairs, anxiety, cancer, and depression. So including all of those, I have years upon years of experience. I have my own vehicle/drivers license/ etc. so I would be available to provide transportation. I would be a great caregiver for you and your family because I have a GREAT passion for helping/Caring for others, and making them comfortable no matter the situation. I have a huge heart and am very personable. I would love nothing more than to be your families caregiver.

I've enjoyed being a caregiver for over 15 years now. I started in a nursing home, and then, after my father became ill, I took over all of his care. I have been doing private in home care ever since. It gives me much joy to be able to help others .... whether it be as a caregiver, friend, or great listener to loved ones and their families. In the last 5 years, I've been involved with private in home hospice care.

I currently work as a nursing assistant for a hospital and have been doing so for about three years now. I became an aide because I love taking care of people and being able to help them continue to live their daily lives. I am also dependable and reliable.

I am a compassionate caregiver with a strong desire to help others. I have a disabled husband and son so I understand the importance of dependable, reliable service. I have experience caring for those who are paralyzed, wheelchair bound, neurological disorders, autism, heart and stroke diagnosis, and have held the hands of terminal cancer patients until their final moments. My motto is "to treat others the way you wish to be treated". I am also a lifetime athlete and enjoy taking care of myself through exercise, meditation, and eating healthy.

One thing that attracted me to being a caregiver is that I absolutely love helping people and making them feel better. Seeing them have a good day helps me have a better day. Some of the traits that I have that help with this job is empathy. Empathy is a huge thing to have as a caregiver. Really, I absolutely love having a bond with my patients/residents. Seeing myself being able to help people and make their lives a little bit easier is what brings me to work. The one big achievement that I'm proud of is that I moved states away from my son to earn my state certifications.
