What attracted me to be a caregiver was I took care of my aunt while she had cancer and I love making sure they are okay and don't feel alone. Hello, I have worked in the field for over 15 years. I have worked with many disabilities. The rewarding part is helping someone in need and putting a smile on their faces. Currently I work with IDD adults. No matter what type of diagnosis or disorder they may have they all deserve to be treated equally. Just to name a few things. I taught how to cook and how to fold laundry. I love what I do.

I have been an emergency technician for the past 26 years. I took care of a vast array of patients including many who were in critical condition. I recently left the ER to be the caretaker for a husband and wife. I am responsible for bathing, cooking, grocery shopping, medication distribution, and household cleaning. Its a joy being able to help keep them out of a nursing home. The wife has end stage COPD and the husband has Parkinsons. I am especially proud that because of my efforts they are still living at home. The relationship I have built with them has been well worth it too. The husband has even given me the nickname Christmas because he looks forward to seeing me every morning.

Hello my name is Jamie. I currently work at wvu medicine. I love working with my patients to help them overcome the struggles of their daily lives. I wanted to be a caregiver since my sophomore year of high school. I did a year of medical assisting and a year of home health care. I am currently working in the icu, cardiology department with wvu medicine. I will have my background check soon I'm new to this site and l have to wait on my birth certificate that l misplaced, so l can get my background check, l do have references l also have my clearances and fingerprints from up north so I'm waiting to update those as well.
