I love being a caregiver/CNA. I've been a CNA for over 25 years. It gives me alot of pleasure taking care of the elderly. I'm a very caring & compassionate person. The reason why I started becoming a caregiver was because my brother just got diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. I used to take care of him before he went into the nursing home. I'm very hard working & enjoy listening to my clients history, for example where they are from & what they used to do for a living. I would treat your loved one like I would my own with up most respect. I really enjoy getting to know my clients & I feel like they are part of my family. If I can make them smile & laugh then I know I'm doing my job because some of my clients don't have much family or friends & they get very lonely & depressed. My personal achievement is taking care of sick & elderly patients.

I have been an emergency technician for the past 26 years. I took care of a vast array of patients including many who were in critical condition. I recently left the ER to be the caretaker for a husband and wife. I am responsible for bathing, cooking, grocery shopping, medication distribution, and household cleaning. Its a joy being able to help keep them out of a nursing home. The wife has end stage COPD and the husband has Parkinsons. I am especially proud that because of my efforts they are still living at home. The relationship I have built with them has been well worth it too. The husband has even given me the nickname Christmas because he looks forward to seeing me every morning.

I am a outgoing person love to meet and work with people. I have a big heart and I am a hard worker. I am CPR certified and First Aid certified. I enjoy being a caregiver because I personally know what it's like to have a family member that needs care.I put my whole heart and give it 100 percent I personally took care of a family member for 12 years

I truly believe I was put on this Earth to help people. I enjoy making people's days a little brighter and easier. Life is about lifting each other up and making the most out of each and every day. I am going to be going to Nursing school in the Fall and pursue my passion of becoming a LPN, so I can extend my care to my clients.

I started working with patients as a dietary aide in a hospital. Interacting with them made me want to do more to help them. I took the Nursing Assistant classes through the hospital and worked with them as a nurse assist for a year and a half. Decided to get my certification to open my career opportunities. Been certified for a year. Helping people with every day activities makes me feel like I made a good difference in thier day. Work experience: Nursing Assistant at Schuylkill Medical Center East. 1 1/2 years. CNA from June 2018 to present.

Taking care of my mother for 4 yrs and after she passed found I liked taking care of people, worked for my last job for 3 yrs , a couple man and wife . They were a joy to work with but eventurally Mr. passed and his wife not long after.Think I did a good job of making their lives better for the time iI was with them
