During these years I have had the privilege of caring for some outstanding seniors. Some of whom needed minimal care, such as companionship. Just someone to simply be there and be a friend. Which I am always happy to do. I have also cared for seniors who needed much more. My experience with dementia and Alzheimer's is extensive. I understand the importance of safety during such a confusing time in their lives. Throughout my career I have taken every opportunity to learn how to comfort and calm the uncertainty they live with on a daily basis. I can offer activities and exercises to set their mind at ease and give them something positive to focus on. I will gladly help keep things tidy, prepare yummy meals, help with bathing/dressing, ambulation, medication reminders and more and can discuss a care plan that works best for your family.

I am very kind towards everyone I meet, I've never met a stranger. I'm understanding to the needs of the patient and will meet expectations that are required of me as a caregiver. I've always wanted to help people ever since I was little and grew up watching my mother do this job and sometimes I'd go with her and help her when she needed it. The one thing I enjoy the most from being a caregiver is making a difference in someone's life and helping them to get better if they're wheelchair bound and start standing in their own or even just giving them a listening ear.
