The reason why I love being a caregiver is because I enjoy working with different kinds of people. I love making a difference in people lives and I consider myself a empathetic person. I became a caregiver due to the fact my grandparents who both raised me both passed away in nursing homes. After I saw the care and how they were being treated, I made the decision to become a nurse assistant so I could possibly make a difference. I feel as though I have, I love what I do and couldn't see myself doing anything else. I'm a very compassionate person with a big heart and I truly enjoy helping others. I'm a good talker but a better listener and will do anything to make sure my patient is comfortable and taken care of emotional, physically, and personally. This is my calling and I have enjoyed these last 11 years doing this.

Greetings and I hope all is well here is a little bit about me I've worked with seniors for a little while now privately as well as providing art services at nursing homes. What really got me into caregiving was the passing of my own grandmother, by me living out of town I never got to spend those last days with her which left me in great pain. That is why I started seeing what I can do to help out in the senior community. I cook I do light cleaning such as laundry, dishes, lining changes etc. I have other services that I offer as well I have my cosmetologist license, I offer manicures pedicures and haircuts, I do art classes and I'm also a licensed security officer so I'm trained see any danger coming if we happen to be on a outing. To me it's more then a job and honestly I just believe in treating people the way I would like to be treated or the way I would want someone to treat My love ones A person's character isn't built off of what they do when everyone is looking but more about what they do when no one is around I hope this was informational have a blessed day
