Hello, my name is Natasha Gallaway and i have 13 years of experience in total care for clients. I have experience in bathing, grooming, dressing, oral care, repositioning, transfers, ADL's, toileting, check and change. I love being able to be of help to others and knowing that i made a difference in someone's life at the end of the day.

I consider myself blessed to have a connection with the elderly. When I was a 14 yrs old had the most amazing bond with the 93 year old mother of our church and I will never forget her. I personally feel responsible for the helpless ; I didn't know I needed a reason why. However, I have realized it's not for everyone. I take pride in the connection and the ability to bond with a person in need of understanding and compassion. I now consider it a gift and I am humbly grateful.

What makes me a great caregiver is that I am able to relate to the needs of my clients base on individuality. I am very compassionate towards my clients. I try my very best to understand their needs and find a solution to it. I became a caregiver not only to help people who are at a disadvantage but rather because I care about people and enjoy being a part of their lives. For many years I've lived away from my father, but the moment I received a phone call that he had a stroke I dropped everything and went to care for him until he recovered. That alone shows how caring and concern I am about people who are unable to care for themselves. What I like about being a caregiver is the fact that I am able to bring a smile on the faces of my clients no matter what moods they are in for that particular day. I go to an extended mile to make sure that their needs are met and that they are taken good care of and happy. One personal achievement I am proud of is being able to graduate college. Both my parents are illiterate and for me to be the first out of four siblings to go to college and graduate was a very good accomplishment for me. And with what I have learned and experience I will continue to strive in what I love the most; that is helping people.

I like being a caregiver because I love to take care of people. I feel that this is my calling and Jesus is working through me to let people know that they are loved and deserve the best care. I have over 15 years of experience. God bless

I have been certified by the state of Texas over 30yrs. I am caring and enjoy what I do. I have cared for many individuals my whole adult life. I have experience in long term facilities as well as private home care settings. I assist with daily ADL's. Bathing, grooming, dressing, feeding and transfers. I have always enjoyed taking care of people, it is a passion. I grew up taking care of my grand mother for like 10years before she passed away. she has always been an inspiration to me. she even told me I will make a great nurse the way I was taking care of her. so I did my CNA and I am working at a nursing home, and I am enjoying it. I know that is my call. I have been working as a Certified Nurse aide/ Certified medication aide for about 7years. I am in a nursing school right now. I will be graduating in December 2018 with my Bachelor in Nursing

I do my very best in making the patient or patients feel important and know that I'm always here to help them in all things they need help with. My grandmother was very sick and I quit my job to be full time care for her and when she passed I went to school and that's what got me into the field of caregiver. Hello! I'm Lilly, I found my love for caregiving at a young age. My closest friend and mentor was paralegic. I saw how it affected everything in her life and I learned how important it was for her to receive the proper care. My hope is that I can do the same for others too.
