I consider myself blessed to have a connection with the elderly. When I was a 14 yrs old had the most amazing bond with the 93 year old mother of our church and I will never forget her. I personally feel responsible for the helpless ; I didn't know I needed a reason why. However, I have realized it's not for everyone. I take pride in the connection and the ability to bond with a person in need of understanding and compassion. I now consider it a gift and I am humbly grateful.

What makes me a great caregiver is that I am able to relate to the needs of my clients base on individuality. I am very compassionate towards my clients. I try my very best to understand their needs and find a solution to it. I have always enjoyed taking care of people, it is a passion. I grew up taking care of my grand mother for like 10years before she passed away. she has always been an inspiration to me. she even told me I will make a great nurse the way I was taking care of her. so I did my CNA and I am working at a nursing home, and I am enjoying it. I know that is my call. I have been working as a Certified Nurse aide/ Certified medication aide for about 7years. I am in a nursing school right now. I will be graduating in December 2018 with my Bachelor in Nursing
