Experience caregiver having over 10 years working with various clients. I guess you could say my life could be encapsulated in four simple words faith, family, friends, and helping others! I have worked in Home Health both in nursing homes as well as memory care facilities for over 10 years. I love helping people, I also feel that in some ways this is my ministry even though it is my part-time job. I have experience in memory care, ADL's, transfer assist, gait training, lighthouse keeping, meal prep, companionship, and bathing and grooming, I have dependable transportation and arrive to work on time and don't miss days unless I am ill. I am normally very healthy, and I insist on cleanliness and am constantly washing my hands. I would like to think I am extremely cautious in keeping both myself safe as well as you. I've had extensive training in HIPAA and sanitation. After retiring from Health and Human Services caregiving became my passion. I'm a very conscientious and hard worker and yet I still remain cheerful throughout the day. I also am a Certified Activities Director so I feel like I bring a little more than just caregiving. I believe that seniors need daily activities to stay happy and healthy and if possible to be a part of their day-to-day activities and have a purpose. If the senior is capable and able to water plants or assist with meal prep I encourage that. When I completed high school I went to college not knowing what I wanted to do for a job. I saw that my cousin who has Down Syndrom could not communicate with my family very well as she could not speak. When starting college I took sign language to communicate with my her. This became my joy and I loved helping children and Adults with mental and physical disabilities in their home and in the community. I strive to be able to listen and understand each person's needs and wants with caring and compassion for each person. I have worked with all ages and a range of disabilities including but not limited to, Scoliosis, Down Syndrom, ALS and Alzhelmer's.

My name is Kimberly I am currently a single mother to one child I have been in the medical field for about a total of 12 years now, I love what I do. Helping others is truly my passion. I was a certified nursing assistant I started off working in a nursing home I then worked for hospice care and then after that I did work in the hospital. I am currently continuing my education to become a registered nurse, to continue my mission providing excellent care to those in need. I love the excitement in the joy of being around elderly geriatric patients. I think I like most about this is the joy that you can bring them from companionship listening to them being able to assist them and I do love to treat all my patients as if I would want somebody to treat my mother and father or grandparents when they were in a time of need. My most Personal Achievement is being able to see people through the end of life making sure that they were treated with the utmost dignity and respect and the best care. I like to be a blessing to those that I help the patient as well as the family as much as possible. I am very dependable, trust worthy, compassionate, loving, understanding, and exceptionally well with those with disabilities. I am on time and always on call with the proper notice, andI always go above over and beyond for my patients. Always putting their needs and safety first.

Hello there I'm Brook. I have been a caregiver for about 6 years now and plan to continue my career in caregiving for as long as I can.
