Experience caregiver having over 10 years working with various clients. I guess you could say my life could be encapsulated in four simple words faith, family, friends, and helping others! I have worked in Home Health both in nursing homes as well as memory care facilities for over 10 years. I love helping people, I also feel that in some ways this is my ministry even though it is my part-time job. I have experience in memory care, ADL's, transfer assist, gait training, lighthouse keeping, meal prep, companionship, and bathing and grooming, I have dependable transportation and arrive to work on time and don't miss days unless I am ill. I am normally very healthy, and I insist on cleanliness and am constantly washing my hands. I would like to think I am extremely cautious in keeping both myself safe as well as you. I've had extensive training in HIPAA and sanitation. After retiring from Health and Human Services caregiving became my passion. I'm a very conscientious and hard worker and yet I still remain cheerful throughout the day. I also am a Certified Activities Director so I feel like I bring a little more than just caregiving. I believe that seniors need daily activities to stay happy and healthy and if possible to be a part of their day-to-day activities and have a purpose. If the senior is capable and able to water plants or assist with meal prep I encourage that. I think what makes me a care giver is ,if good gives me a long life I am going to meed help ,and I will like for someone to treat me whit the same TLC rhat i try to give to each person that was unther my care. My biggest acomplisment ,I went back to the facility were I was a supervisor a couple of days ago , I never expected the welcoming the resident's gave me,i never realized what a difrence I made in each one of our clients and residents thst were not our clients.

My name is Kimberly I am currently a single mother to one child I have been in the medical field for about a total of 12 years now, I love what I do. Helping others is truly my passion. I was a certified nursing assistant I started off working in a nursing home I then worked for hospice care and then after that I did work in the hospital. I am currently continuing my education to become a registered nurse, to continue my mission providing excellent care to those in need. I love the excitement in the joy of being around elderly geriatric patients. I think I like most about this is the joy that you can bring them from companionship listening to them being able to assist them and I do love to treat all my patients as if I would want somebody to treat my mother and father or grandparents when they were in a time of need. My most Personal Achievement is being able to see people through the end of life making sure that they were treated with the utmost dignity and respect and the best care. I like to be a blessing to those that I help the patient as well as the family as much as possible. I am very dependable, trust worthy, compassionate, loving, understanding, and exceptionally well with those with disabilities.
