I am a very attentive person, full of compassion. I find it mutually rewarding to care to elderly and disabled individuals. It provides a colorful experience as I get to know each individual person. I have been providing services in healthcare for approximately 15 years. I find that it has been a very special time in my life. I try to give encouragement and emotional support to everyone. Since I was a young girl, whether it be for my loved ones or the underprivileged, I have always had an innate concern for those in need. My inherent compassion for the livelihood challenges of others has developmentally led me to pursue an educational life-long career as a guidance counselor and health-care provider. What I have learned in my experience, when caring for any individual, is that each person's needs are distinct and should not be identified as like any other individual. When an individual is challenged in any capacity, demonstrating you care in getting to know them as a person, their strengths and limitations with personable kindness, compassion, and patience, can make all the difference to the individual and the family members who depend on you as an extension of themselves. Sometimes a simple smile can make a person feel more relaxed and willing to work with you as a caregiver to aid them with their inability of managing their own lives on their own. I'm a very empathetic person, and I'm drawn to caregiving because I love helping people. The thing I enjoy about being a caregiver is seeing a smile on a client's face when I've done something to make them feel great. One of the things that I am most proud of is being able to say that I serve my country...it's an honor.

Care for my grandparents before they passed away made me realize how much I love caring for the elderly. To be able to care for people like they are an extension of your family is how everyone should care for their clients. I am a proud Army vet and have a great attention to detail. I work hard and care for my clients as if they are my grandparents.
