I started working with individuals with special needs back in 2012 during my senior year of high school. I new it was my passion to make a career in this field. In 2013 upon graduation I got a job as an activity coordinator at a day program for individuals with special needs. I worked in the sensory integration room with individuals with autism that had high behavioral needs. I loved this work so much in 2014 I decided to open my home and become a host home provider. I supported two ladies with cp in all aspects of their daily life. This was truest the most amazing thing I have ever done. I then became a house manager for a group home and managed 3 individuals and 16 staff. In 2017 I relocated to Lubbock Texas for school met my now husband and started a family. I have since been a stay at home mom. I still have an immense love for working with individuals with special needs and can't wait to start working with them and their families again.

Other than it being my job I like to find little time to take them outside get some fresh air talk about anything make them laugh and for females sometimes if it's ok I will paint their to nails it's just the little things that always count.
