Iam a people person I like to talk help out when needed like to cook pNd listen and care about what they want and I don't believe in being mean to no one even if they are wrong. And like when I took careofahospice person I did not love him till he died cuz no one should never die alone I will stay till they are gone

I'm a very giving and loving person. I love to meet new people and get to know them! I'm very outgoing and I always make sure to be on time and get things done.

I enjoy companionship and helping others live a happy comfortable life. Im always positive and outgoing and love people. I enjoy cooking and cleaning and providing a successful atmosphere everywhere I go. Im honest and very dependable

I'm 34 have a lot of experience in this field. I truly enjoy being able to help others and putting a smile on their faces. I am a very patient and go with flow kind of person. I don't let a lot bother me, I would much rather enjoy my day than not. I enjoy hearing about their lives and getting to know them.

I am very outgoing and welcoming off the bat, I have a extrovert personality with a heart for caring for others and helping them in life. What attracts me to be a caregiver is the fact that I will be helping people with their lives, help it be a little easier, and creating somewhat of a bond with them. What I would enjoy about being a caregiver is that I will be helping people out and making them smile and enjoy life. A personal achievement I'm proud of is this past semester in college, my chemistry class I was one of the 5 people out of a class of 20 who passed.

I became a caregiver right out of college to help presue my dream of working with children. I worked for the same family for 2 years, helping their severely disabled son. When I first started working for the family the 11 yr old son was very malnourished weighing in at 22 lbs, I was able to build the type of relationship with his mother that she soon entrusted me with feeding him pouches of baby food instead of oatmeal 3 times a day. Was able to learn all the physical therapy he was needing and able to practice with him daily. Over the two years he did manage to weigh in at 47lbs of muscle. The congenial degenerative disease he had required him to gain weight which was one of the things his mother struggled with.. Then I was blessed with a child of my own and could no longer care for my charge due to weight lifting restrictions during my pregnancy. Was blessed with a son and spent the next few years caring for him, as well as my mother and my grandparents all of whoms health was rapidly declining. I love being a caregiver because it allows me to continue to give love to those who have loved and taken care of their own families. It give me a sense of peace knowing that I am able to make their lives just a little bit better by being there for them in whatever way they need. My greatest personal achievement would have to be bringing an older patient (whom I was in charge of for 4 months) out of a panic attack. After working with her for 12 hours a day I was able to build that trust and bond with her and she knew, even at the end of her care that I truly loved her and only wanted the best for her and her family. Even though it was sad and made me cry I know she and her family were very happy with the care she received from me. I've been told I have an empathic personality. And I would love to be able to find the right fit taking care of others family members who could use a little bit extra in their care.

I ENJOY BEING A CAREGIVER ALL BECAUSE OF THE SATISFACTION OF A SIMPLE SMILE FROM AN ELDER WHEN YOU JUST SIMPLY TOUCH THEYRE SHOULDER OR HAND! I HAVE WORKED WITH DEMENTIA/ ALZEIMER PATIENTS AND THE PROCESSES ARE HEART BREAKING BUT WHEN YOU MANAGE TO GET THROUGH IT AND YOU ARE STILL THERE BY THEM I FEEL LIKE I HAVE DONE WHAT THE LORD ASKED ME TO DO! I HAVE BEEN CARING FOR JUST ABOUT 10YRS AND MY COMPASSION GROWS MORE EVERYDAY! I AM A MINISTERS WIFE WITH 3 GROWN BOYS/ 2 MARRIED AND 1 JUST ABOUT TO GRADUATE THIS YEAR. I HAVE 7 GRANDBOYS AND GIRLS! I LOVE THE SMILES ON FACES/ SO WHEN I DONT HAPPEN TO SEE ONE ON AN ELDER/ I DO MY BEST TO PUT IT THERE! I TREAT THEM LIKE I TREAT AN 18 YEAR OLD/25YR OLD/ 35 YR OLD/ 45YR OLD/ 55YR/ 65 YR/ AND SO ON....EVERYONE IS THE SAME IN GODS EYES AND I GO BY THAT! I LOVE THE JOY IT BRINGS THE LONELY AND SAD WHEN I SAY ....LETS GO FOR A WALK AND THEN LUNCH AND WE CAN JUST RELAX AND TALK! I LOVE MY JOB AS A CAREGIVER!
