Caregiver for over 3-4 years. I have worked in healthcare field for 8 years in and out of hospital facilities as a contracted surgical tech. My main concern is giving care to the families loved ones and help ease the day. I do have expat with hospice, nursing homes, Alzheimer, dementia and many other medical conditions.

Fun caring responsible to know that i can make a difference in helping someone to function at their highest level of care having that since of independence..

Because I'm a very compassionate person, and patient that 's what makes me a very special and caring nursing aide. Also I love the work I do ,not because of the money and overtime, Because of the satsfaction I get from helping people from day to day.

I think what makes me a great caregiver is I love helping people. I enjoy seniors the most because they usually have great stories. I am a mother of three adult children and a grandmother to four grandchildren that I help care for. I have taken care of my great grandfather and my mother when they were ill, towards the end of their life. I know how much it meant to them to be comfortable as they could be in the comfort of their own home. Everytime I care for someone, I always keep that in mind. I pray that if I am blessed to grow old, I hope that I am cared for the same exact way. I have taken quite a few Alzheimer's and dementia classes, for better understanding of the disease. I have worked with a few seniors dealing with this. I am more of a Caretaker/ Companion, meaning I'm there to help your loved to stay as independent in their own home as they can possibly be. I cook, do light housekeeping, laundry, errands and grocery shop, help with medication reminders, help with grooming and getting dressed. I help with pretty much anything that needs to be done.

Hi, my name is Lynette. I'm a very nurturing and passionate caregiver of 14 years. PCA certified since 2005, Medication Technician certification since 2015, and CPR/ First Aid certified. I became interested in the healthcare field during my teenage years assisting my aunt with her patients. My most enjoyable moments of caregiving is being able to assist with daily living by giving the client as much independence as possible. Watching the excitement on their faces as they accomplish different tasks is so liberating. I love taking care of the sick, I am a very loving and caring person, I have been a CNA for 18 years n I plan to further my nursing career I am a mother of two boys n three grandkids I love taking care of my patients they are my family, Sometimes I go and beyond ,but that's ok, I know at the end of the day I know they are taking care of and they are happy n comfortable.
