Caregiver for over 3-4 years. I have worked in healthcare field for 8 years in and out of hospital facilities as a contracted surgical tech. My main concern is giving care to the families loved ones and help ease the day. I do have expat with hospice, nursing homes, Alzheimer, dementia and many other medical conditions.

Ive been a CNA for 20 yrs, received my license in North Carolina in 2001 and in Virginia in 2009. I believe the most important thing that makes me a great CNAs is patience and understanding. The reason why I became a CNA is I find joy in the elderly. They are knowledgeable, they make you laugh,and you can learn alot from them. I get great joy in seeing the smiles on their faces because they're pleased with me.

Because I'm a very compassionate person, and patient that 's what makes me a very special and caring nursing aide. Also I love the work I do ,not because of the money and overtime, Because of the satsfaction I get from helping people from day to day.

Hi, my name is Lynette. I'm a very nurturing and passionate caregiver of 14 years. PCA certified since 2005, Medication Technician certification since 2015, and CPR/ First Aid certified. I became interested in the healthcare field during my teenage years assisting my aunt with her patients. I am a good caregiver because i"ve been doing this humble profession for over 22yrs. though i had an 8 hrs job before, i still do it on a weekend or sometimes during the night if some clients will request. I love the elderly because for me they are the most interesting people to be with, no boring time being with the old community. They always have an interesting story to tell, sick or well they are still interesting, For me, I treat them as my own, some of them are worrier, some of them are lonely, some of them are happy go lucky but most of them just need our kindness and compassion. I am a good cook, i work in an organized and systematic manner with the application of proper technique and dedication. i see to it that the client will be properly taken care of. Most of all I give them my tender love and care , see to it that i treat them with respect and dignity.

My personality traits that help me be a great caregiver is my Patience, me being compassion, my humor, I'm a very dependable person, who loves to help and care for others. * To be honest I don't know what attracted me to be a caregiver, I just know one day I wanted to do something different in my career and it lead me to caring for others. I have been working as a Licensed CNA over 20+ yrs , when taking care of my residence i look at them as my family member, meaning i would give them good quality care show them love and respect with dignity, what attracted me to being a caregiver i have watched my family member with dementia and my aunt needed a break because it can become overwhelming at times. I enjoy making my residents happy and comfortable, i have achieved a lot by going to school for mental health and doing medical assistance, ,
