I currently live on a small hobby farm that includes horses, a donkey, chickens, dogs, cats, rabbits and even a turkey. I spend quite a bit of time vegetable and fruit gardening and enjoy a variety of crafts. I am also a volunteer at the local senior center. I am married, with 5 grown children and 6 grandchildren, and am fortunate enough to still have both my parents! My specialties are Cancer Care, Physical Therapy, Rehabilitation, Post-Acute, Memory Care, and Hospice Care. I have an innate ability to anticipate the needs of my client, both emotionally and physically. I am open and approachable, and am able to comfortably converse with my client based on their interests and experiences. I'm known for giving great baths and showers and I'm nurse delegation certified, so I can assist with catheters, insulin, wound care and more. I have a clean, dependable car and insurance. I am willing to transport to appointments, outings and events or just stay home together. I began working in a nursing home while in high school. I enjoyed taking the time to care for my clients in the home on a daily basis. For 40 intermittent years I have care for many different types of people who needed assistance and help with their daily lives. I very much enjoy caring for alzheimers patients and also dementia. I've worked with Parkinson's disease clients, multiple sclerosis, The sheer fact of making their responsibilities easier satisfies me.

I became a caregiver in 2011 I am CPR certified,I have my Nurse Delegation,Dementia &Alzheimer's, Developmental Disabilities speciality training,Mental Health ,Insulin Delegation i have all my certificates of competition. It is my passion to take care of others it has always been my dream job since I was little I wanted to become a nurse, I enjoy working with the clients of all ages and socio-economic backgrounds and have a demonstrated ability to develop great relationship with them and their families. Moreover, I am trustworthy and responsible person who takes great pleasure in all kinds of caregiving tasks. I have been in many setting witch includes an adult family home where I cooked,cleaned,bathed,and did medication administrations along with patient adls with 6 residents to myself for 12 hours a day. Ive also worked at rehabilitation facilities,assisted living as a med tech. My favorite thing about what i do is knowing that i play a special part in someone's life who can no longer take of themselves and i get the privilege to do so and having the trust of it being all in my hands. Im very proud of myself for sticking with being a caregiver and getting all the diffrent trainings i have and experience i have gotten from it.

In my 30 years of experience I have always strive to make a positive difference in the lives of every client I served. I having been a police for over 25 years, my career changed suddenly in 2018 after I lost my sister to cancer. I was away when she passed on and when I came back I was told that my sister's health detorriated so much and she had no caregiver to assist her even to get to hospital at times perhaps she would have atleast lived longer if there was someone to assist her. I was disappointed to know this and from that day on I decided to go out and care for those who need help so here I am and I always want to give the best I can.
