What makes me a great caregiver is that I am compassionate and empathize with my clients. I am there to help them, YES but I want them to feel that I care about them and will be there when they need me. I became a caregiver and chose this path for myself because I know what it feels like to have no one beside me and also does my grandmother and that's why I have been by her side . Its something about putting a smile on another persons face or picking them up when they aren't feeling so well, gives me a certain type of strength and confidence knowing that I can do that for a person that needs it the most. I also take my work very seriously and I am a very reliable and flexible.

I will proudly say that I'm a patient gentleman and Patience is a great way to derive success in many aspects of life. Having in mind that caregiving can be challenging sometimes, I derived success in caregiving by exercising patients and kindness towards my clients. I started caregiving by taking care of my own mother, when I saw how happy she feels by having me around, I felt blessed doing it and when she passed, I extended the same compassion to others. I really enjoy it when I notice that I have made a positive impact on the life of my client; I can remember being called God sent by the wife of one of my clients; the gentleman returned home after spending months at the hospital and rehab, he lost his ability to walk and speak. after I was called in as a caregiver, he regained his mobility and speech because we had to engage with him not just as a client but as a loved one...

I'm very new to Alabama . Moved here just two months ago . I'm excited to bring some of my expertise to the south . I've been caregiving for over 10 years . With a specialty of working with people whom have special needs / disabilities . I'm a single mom of 5 little humans . I'm compassionate, loving , empathetic and most of all caring . My clients I had to leave back in Washington had become more like family . Working with people in their homes brings a sense of family vs just a job . I want to make a difference in ones lives and help improve the quality of life . I love going on outings , getting out when able to and enjoying a family setting . I have been a CNA/caregiver for over 20 years now. I became a CNA because I have a passion to make a difference in people's lives. I started caring for friends and family and realized that I loved helping people. I am an honest, kind, caring caregiver that loves doing what I do. I love seeing the people I care for happy and knowing that I made a difference for them.

I am a lot funnier than what my application says about me. I take my job seriously, but I am light hearted and loving. I learn quickly.

I am a caring person and naturally a very good care provider. I am also very intuitive about a person's needs and desires. I anticipate a person's need before they even ask and they are surprised. I am a great cook and I present the meal in an appealing fashion. I plate the food like a professional chef and my clients love it. They always say, "Take a picture!" when meals are served.

I consider myself to be a good listener, i always try to be positive and understanding. All these helps me to be a good caregiver. I was raised by my grandmother and i saw the great love she had for me. This motivated me to love and take care of seniors. I enjoy most being a caregiver when i see my client being clean, happy and satisfied. Knowing how to handle different people(clients) with different cases in different situations is my personal achievement and am proud of that.

I have worked with a lot of clients and families and one thing I constantly hear is that am very companionate, a hard worker and patient at the same time . I have been in the medical field as a CNA for 6years now.
