I've been a caregiver on and off for the past 20 years I've worked with Developmentally disables individuals children, paraplegic quadriplegic guys and girls, and elderly from just very minor help to hospice. I have been in many setting witch includes an adult family home where I cooked,cleaned,bathed,and did medication administrations along with patient adls with 6 residents to myself for 12 hours a day. Ive also worked at rehabilitation facilities,assisted living as a med tech. My favorite thing about what i do is knowing that i play a special part in someone's life who can no longer take of themselves and i get the privilege to do so and having the trust of it being all in my hands. Im very proud of myself for sticking with being a caregiver and getting all the diffrent trainings i have and experience i have gotten from it.

I love taking care of people and interacting and getting to know a person on a level like they are my family. I feel very strongly about providing good care and I have a lot of experience to show it. I'm a great listener I'm very compassionate and take my job to heart. I'm a nurture and that is what lead me to love being a caregiver I love being able to help someone in need. I love helping people, my heart is all in when I'm caring for my clients/patients. I can build strong relationships with the harder to care for clients, troubleshoot how to care for dementia/alzheimer patients rather quickly like for an example we had a dementia patient that had not had his teeth brushed in 6 months. I worked with his wife to get him a toothbrush and toothpaste that he used at home, he finally let us help do dental hygiene.

Hi my name is Anna Rose I am currently a caregiver a medication aide at an assisted living in St Helens I'm looking for a part-time job during the day because I work the night shift I feel I'm a great caregiver because I have patience and I'm willing to listen and constantly wanting to learn new things. I have been a caregiver for almost 20 years now I have worked in multiple places like nursing homes, hospitals, assisted living, in home settings, and even worked for a nursing agency where I traveled around and work two different facilities I even got to work in the prison for a short time. I am compassionate and try to take my time with everybody that I take care of I think of them as family. I have been told that I go above and beyond to make sure that my clients are safe happy and having a good day no matter the case. the thing I enjoy most about being caregiver is the fact that I get to help somebody, make their day brighter, and just give them companionship when sometimes they don't have it. I am about to finish my prerequisites to get into the nursing program I want to eventually get my BSN and be an advocate for both the clients and the workers to make sure everyone is safe they have what they need to do their job appropriately and to be taken care of it accordingly.

I enjoy helping others.I get most of enjoyment out of helping others out. I deffinetly work hard sometimes to the point where it is almost to much Of an over load.
