Hi I want to take a little bit about me I'm am 41 year old a mother with one daughter she is 20 I'm a certified CNA also CBRF train been working in this field for 14years Nursing Homes, Supported living, Assisted living, personal care I work went all type of people young and the Elder also with disability and behavior problems I got in this feel because I like helping people we all get older things happen to people we don't know why treat people the way you want to be treated with love kindness understand as a mother I understand how to be a parent allso as a sister and auntie love you have for your loved ones is so endearing also so important have a person would help take care of your loved ones who understand so if I'm saying I'm a good candidate yes have some years experience Ben in different situation. Do I know everything no do I know a lot yes is I'm still learning yes nice loving caring and tell the truth that's my model.

I'm very patient when it comes to my residents I feel like being patient should almost be a requirement and understanding them as well. Although it's important for a caregiver to have stellar time management skills, it may be more important to display appropriate body language when you visit. What do you enjoy most about being a caregiver ? Spending time with someone grandma or grandpa getting to know them and just bonding with them like they're one of my own grandparents. What is a personal achievement you are proud of ? I am proud of myself for being so determined and never giving up always doing my best at whatever job I have and giving it my all so I should say one of my personal achievements is my work ethic .

I became a caregiver because my grandmother suffer health issues that couldn't not be met in a traditional senior living facility so I took several class to learn all the cares she needed at the time. However one thing that I enjoy the most as a caregiver is smiles and laughter from a patient that's comfortable with the way I care for them. I decided to follow a career in the health field when I helped take care of my grandmother when she was in a nursing home for rehabilitation after a car accident. My older sister was always my idol. She became a nurse and I always admired her with her job and all that she does for other people who are in need. I decided to pursue in the same field. I enjoy helping others. I am a very giving and compassionate person. I take my job seriously, and don't expect anything in return. My reward is seeing smiling faces of those I help and knowing that they are completely appreciative of everything I do because I am not obligated to do so. I am proud of starting school to continue my education. I had financial issues and had to take a break, but I am determined to finish and get my RN. A little something about myself, I live on my own with my boyfriend and his 3 year old son. I also have a dog. I enjoy spending time with my family and my boyfriend's family. I am looking to add on to my small family, but the jobs I have had have not allowed me to be financially stable just yet. I am looking to get paid decently for all the work that I do as a CNA. CNAs don't always get competitive pay. Thank you for your time.
