Hi I want to take a little bit about me I'm am 41 year old a mother with one daughter she is 20 I'm a certified CNA also CBRF train been working in this field for 14years Nursing Homes, Supported living, Assisted living, personal care I work went all type of people young and the Elder also with disability and behavior problems I got in this feel because I like helping people we all get older things happen to people we don't know why treat people the way you want to be treated with love kindness understand as a mother I understand how to be a parent allso as a sister and auntie love you have for your loved ones is so endearing also so important have a person would help take care of your loved ones who understand so if I'm saying I'm a good candidate yes have some years experience Ben in different situation. Do I know everything no do I know a lot yes is I'm still learning yes nice loving caring and tell the truth that's my model.

My personality traits are I'm caring , I always have a smile .I'm very reliable and responsible. My expertise of being a caregiver is communication,support and care. Starting off being a caregiver/pcw for my grandparents who are now deceased is what attracted me to being a caregiver. I became a caregiver because my grandmother suffer health issues that couldn't not be met in a traditional senior living facility so I took several class to learn all the cares she needed at the time. I decided to follow a career in the health field when I helped take care of my grandmother when she was in a nursing home for rehabilitation after a car accident. My older sister was always my idol. She became a nurse and I always admired her with her job and all that she does for other people who are in need. I decided to pursue in the same field. I enjoy helping others. I am a very giving and compassionate person. I take my job seriously, and don't expect anything in return. My reward is seeing smiling faces of those I help and knowing that they are completely appreciative of everything I do because I am not obligated to do so. I am proud of starting school to continue my education. I had financial issues and had to take a break, but I am determined to finish and get my RN. A little something about myself, I live on my own with my boyfriend and his 3 year old son. I also have a dog. I enjoy spending time with my family and my boyfriend's family. I am looking to add on to my small family, but the jobs I have had have not allowed me to be financially stable just yet. I am looking to get paid decently for all the work that I do as a CNA. I have had a passion for health care & mostly the elderly population since I was in Kindergarten. However, I enjoy helping anyone who needs my assitance. I became a care giver because of the need & my own self satisfaction of helping others. I am proud to say I have been a Medical Assistant for the past 20 plus yearsr but feel I have come to a point in my career where the clinic setting has becomemore of a business and not very personal & caring. In the office setting you are rushed to room patient's that it has taken over the personal touch that I was proud to give.
