I am an excellent Caregiver/Med tech. I have been a Caregiver and a Med Tech since I was 18 years old. I bond with my client. I have a big heart for my patients and the elderly. I make sure they are always safe and okay no matter their state of mind or condition. My job is to assure them that I have their backs and will not let no harm come their way. I love what I do. I became a caregiver when a friend who did caregiving needed someone to cover her shifts. Later some shifts became available so I was happy to continue. I liked being a companion for a very sharp, interesting women. She had so many great life stories. I did light housekeeping, prepared lunch and did things around her house she could no longer do, like cleaning out her closets and going through her piles of mail. We had many wonderful conversations. I also helped care for my mother who had Alzheimer's. I was a hospice volunteer for two years which I found very rewarding. I did Reiki sessions for clients which were profound experiences. A personal achievement I am very proud of is raising my two daughters. They are beautiful, smart and educated. They both married wonderful men who adore them for who they are. I am also the proud grandmother of a sweet boy and girl. They are the joy of my life. I visit them as often as I can. Thank goodness for technology and we facetime call usually once a week. I am semi retired looking for part-time work to supplement my income. I am educated (Master's degree) and worked for a number of years as a computer programmer analyst and then did accounting. I am an avid reader and enjoy all types of music. I love to dance. I am interested in architecture. For my semi-retirement I am investigating more right-brained activities. I was very artistic as a child and want to recapture that. I moved to Tucson AZ in September 2015. I live in the NW section of Tucson (technically Marana) with my husband James.
