I am a wife and a mother to two young boys. I have taken nursing classes at Central Arizona College and Northern Arizona University. I am a very outgoing, friendly, happy, positive person with a great attitude. I enjoy helping and being there for my patients, their families and people in general. I am reliable and always prompt. I've had a passion of becoming a nurse for years but as most know life happens and it's still a desire but currently on a brief hold. I think a care giver doesn't only provide care but also provides comfort and trust. I personally want to be the person my patients trust and I look forward to helping others. Building relationships with patients is important and I personally believe that the relationship needs to be built with the patient and family both.

I am an excellent Caregiver/Med tech. I have been a Caregiver and a Med Tech since I was 18 years old. I bond with my client. I have a big heart for my patients and the elderly. I make sure they are always safe and okay no matter their state of mind or condition. My job is to assure them that I have their backs and will not let no harm come their way. I love what I do. I love that I can be there for someone who has no one in their life. I am honest and very reliable. I am always on time. I don't call out of work unless I have an extreme emergency. Caregiver is my calling, and I have a great passion for it. I love it, and I LOVE MY CLIENT.

I think that I would be fit for this job because I love to take care of others. I enjoy being able to interact with patients and do hands on work with them. A personal achievment that I have would be that when I did my clinicals for my CNA, many of the patients loved me and said I was good at my job.

I am a mother and grandmother so I have always considered myself a caregiver. It wasn't until 18 years ago when I began to take care of my own parents full time that I realized how different it was to care for either the elderly or those with disabilities. I think it takes compassion and respect. I know from my own parents how hard it is to lose your independence and still maintain the dignity one deserves. This is how I wanted my parents to be treated and how I think I have learned to work with those I have come to take care for. I have worked not only as an in home caregiver but have worked the last three years as a CNA caring for people in a skilled nursing facility. I have certifications as Medication Technician, Restorative Aide and Dementia Care. Starting in 2019 I moved to Tucson Az. Worked in the hospital during Covid and now work as a caregiver in a small assisted living home.

I have been in the cna field for 30 plus years. I've cared for a step daughter & family members with alzhiemers as well as working in hospital settings including surgical care & geriatric behavioral unit. Also worked in nursing homes for many years. I enjoy this work & do everything at the best of my ability.

I'm a fast learner, enthusiastic, dependable, highly motivated, hardworking, energetic and outgoing. I am also performance driven and patient focused that has excellent communication skills to achieve high levels of patient satisfaction. In October I will have been a Certified Nursing Assistant for 10 years. Over the past decade I have leaned so much about myself realizing I'm very compassionate and truly care about the patient's well being. I'm so blessed and grateful that when I wake for work I look forward to helping the patient regain their independence by being their source of encouragement. Throughout the years I've realized I'm one of the few caregivers that didn't chose to work in the healthcare field for the salary. I choose this as my career because I know I have so much to give and offer not just to the patients, but also my coworkers. When I first started working in the hospital a patient thanked me for helping them with something simple and as I walked away my eyes filled with tears. When I was out of the room I dried the tears from my eyes and that's when I instantly knew that helping people in need was my passion. My ultimate dream is to be the caregiver that makes an impact in the patient's life while they're in the hospital recovering. I always make sure the patient is comfortable by going above and beyond by always remaining positive.
