I am in my late fifties and am an Army Veteran . It makes me reliable. I enjoy the the flexibility in scheduling as a Professional Caregiver. I am also the Dad of a teenage daughter, I am quite proud of that. I have experience caring for a close family member with Alzheimer's and Dementia. My skills set include changing incontinence undergarments, assisting the Care Recipient with getting dressed, grooming and body cleaning. Lifting the Care Recipient out of bed without a Hoyer Lift and placing into a wheelchair. Feeding the Care Recipient, assisting the Care Recipient with walking with the aid of a walker and safety belt. Playing assorted games with Care Recipient to keep them engaged. I am also an experienced Cook and Housekeeper. At this time I am only taking on new Care Recipients from the East Bay.

I'm very alert when providing care and needs to my client.Patience,Compassion,Attentiveness,Trustworthiness is the key to be a good Caregiver.I am proud to say that every client i have had a great care because i am giving them something to look for like having a good life and how to enjoy living in a daily basis.

I've been a caregiver all my life. I grew up with my grandmother since I was a little girl. I have learned to be patient and understanding when caring for my clients. The greatest reward I've experienced being a caregiver is always making my clients satisfied of my service, and they look forward to seeing me again.

I am energetic and very social. I became a caregiver because I have a passion with providing care to those individuals who need assistant with staying in the comfort of their home safely. I enjoy being apart of a team who promote clients to reach their highest level of independence. After, discovering I really enjoyed the kind of work that I do I went back to school and pursued my CNA/HHA and Acute Care license. I have five years of experience as a PCA, My first encounter was taking care of a stroke client. Well naturally I have a great personality and I'm very social what helped me be a great care provider it's making sure that I continue to be myself at all times so the family knows exactly to get to know the care provider What attracted me to being a care provider is taking care of my grandmother helping her comb her hair and she loves cooking well the personal achievements I am proud of is that I have five certificates under my belt I've been with Home Instead Senior Care for 7 years being with IHSS for 4 years and kindly care for 4 years and also work now with home care assistance I'm proud of the fact that no matter what I'll try my best to do what I can to make sure that the client improves on their health whatever that may be

First of all I must say that since I have been a caregiver I have learned a lot of things as far as being patient, how to truly love and care about someone , because when you are with someone for a long period of time you really get to know that person and become so close to them and once they are gone it really gets to your heart . When I go to work I like to be cheerful ,happy to be here on this earth another day. I like to take my client out for a walk or out for a ride to get an ice cream. I truly love my job!!
