I've been a caregiver all my life. I grew up with my grandmother since I was a little girl. I have learned to be patient and understanding when caring for my clients. The greatest reward I've experienced being a caregiver is always making my clients satisfied of my service, and they look forward to seeing me again.

I became a caregiver because I have a passion with providing care to those individuals who need assistant with staying in the comfort of their home safely. I enjoy being apart of a team who promote clients to reach their highest level of independence. After, discovering I really enjoyed the kind of work that I do I went back to school and pursued my CNA/HHA and Acute Care license. I have five years of experience as a PCA, My first encounter was taking care of a stroke client. I'm independent, empathetic, trustworthy, reliable and really committed with the job I've been called to do. I'm currently a Geriatric Aide and working for the Center for Elder's Independence as well.

I am a caregiver with more than 10 years of experience, I chose to become a senior caregiver is because it comes naturally to the family. I like this field because I am known for my sensitivity, my giving nature and my nurturing desire to help those who need help. l like being a caregiver because it is the most rewarding thing I can do and my passion is to put others first. What attracted me to be a caregiver was seeing my kind hearted mom help the elderly as a CNA. She does it with so much joy and that has inspired me. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is that I can get to know my patient and their story and inherit their life experience, stories, and wisdom. A personal achievement that I am proud of is when my patient and I formed a wonderful bond. My patient felt like a grandfather to me, and until his passing we enjoyed life together. He taught me about his love life, his single life, and about his love for sweets. I am truly honored to be given the opportunity to meet amazing people and help them.

I have over 30+ years experience working in patient care, I have chosen to become a caregiver as I have seen so many patients and families struggling for in-home support care. I'm a witness, and have experienced on how difficult it is to have someone that you can trust when your love ones are ill. A glimpse into my background. My mother had kidney failure, and was a dialysis patient for many years. She went from hemodialysis three times a week to peritoneal dialysis which is 5 times a day. My sisters and I had to have a crash course training just to keep my mother comfortable. My father suffered from lung cancer and his care was very challenging as well. My oldest sister was diagnosed with breast cancer and seeing her go through chemotherapy was very difficult. Because I have had these personal experiences is why I have chosen to become a caregiver and help individuals with special needs. I have a positive personality, compassionate and a great listener. I enjoy helping people, self motivated and professional. I look forward in working with you and your love ones.
