I am personable and enjoy being a home care provider. I became a caregiver because I wanted to help others by assisting them with their activities of daily living. I enjoyed caring for many seniors over the years and learned quite a lot from them. I believe I'm a great caregiver because I have had extensive training in a skilled nursing facility as well as in many private homes. I also enjoy seeing the difference that I often make in people's lives. I became a nursing assistant back in 1982 and acquired my Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license at the convalescent hospital where I worked. Hello my name is Christine I have been a care giver my whole life ..I started out by taking care of a little girl with spinabifada for 3 years she was a neighbor. I watched Francesca from a new born till 3 in a half...She had lots of surgeries shunt put in and replaced ...she had to use a cathiter couldn't really walk did lots of physical therapy with her...I loved taking care of her ..I follow her on Facebook still..she is 35 now...Then I took care of my mother , brothers and little sister my mom has had lots of medical problems..I use to take care of a little girl name Mary and her sister but Mary had Ceribal Palsy she required alot of care watch her 40 hours aweek well her mom was in nursing school...Then I took care of a man in his 70s who was legally blind...I cooked and cleaned for him took him shopping read his mail for him ..I raised 4 children 3 boys and my beautiful daughter I adopted from Russia...I took care of my grandma who lived with me for 8 years...She had a stroke and dragged her foot alittle she passed away 5 years ago...I started working at All for u home care because I love and need to take care of people.. Taking care of someone gives me purpose and makes me happy ...

My name is Elaine and I'm a great caregiver because, after looking after my father who had Alzheimer's for four years, I have the kind of experience and genuine compassion for seniors that I would want if I were looking for a caregiver. I have completed my CNA training, and am CPR certified. I've also completed several certificate courses in Safety, Memory Care, etc.. Safety is my number one priority. I'm all about fall prevention and have developed techniques to keep my clients as mobile and self-sufficient as possible while keeping them safe at the same time. For me, looking after elders is a privilege. I think that in this sometimes youth-obsessed culture, we can forget how much we all owe to the Greatest Generation. I love to talk to my clients about their experiences, their children, the music they loved, and anything else that brings a smile to their faces! From my father I learned about the music and culture of the 30's, 40's and 50's, and I love it when my clients sing their favorite songs or talk about what movies they liked from those days. Hi my name is Darci, I have been working in health care for the past 25+ years. I started out as a Medical Assistant working in an Urgent Care Center in my early 20's. Soon after I was offered a position as a private caregiver for a quadriplegic female and I absolutely loved it. To me there is no job more rewarding and fulfilling then care giving. I have worked as a private in home caregiver and (2010-2015) as a Lead Caregiver/Caregiver trainer in a local Alzheimer's facility. I am also a DONA trained Postpartum Doula with many years experience in caring for new mothers and babies. I have been a caregiver for ten years. I love pampering my clients with facials, manicures, pedicures, foot massages, exercises and artwork projects. We moved up here from Southern California because my dad had cancer and asked us to move closer. We, my husband and I, saw him through his end of life process, then we were here for my mom. I am a career recruiter who has transitioned to health and fitness. I have been the primary caregiver for my Mom in SF since my Dad died 2 years ago. She is now back to exercising and baking and I couldn't be happier. She is still forgetful, but she is in her own home and happy. I am attracted to being a caregiver as I feel our seniors are forgotten about as they age (as we all age). Being active with my Mom, has helped me realize I would like to do the same with others that are closer to me in traveling distance. I just completed my personal training certification and what I'd like more than anything, is to work with seniors on keeping their bodies in motion.
