I am personable and enjoy being a home care provider. I became a caregiver because I wanted to help others by assisting them with their activities of daily living. I enjoyed caring for many seniors over the years and learned quite a lot from them. I believe I'm a great caregiver because I have had extensive training in a skilled nursing facility as well as in many private homes. I also enjoy seeing the difference that I often make in people's lives. I became a nursing assistant back in 1982 and acquired my Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license at the convalescent hospital where I worked. I then went on to work for several home care agencies and acquired my Certified Home HeaIth Aide (CHHA) license. I have worked as an independent contractor caregiver for years. I am willing to commute for full-time employment. I have great references and will be happy to submit them upon request.

Love working with elderly people giving my time to helping others get the best quality of life. Working with the elderly is like walking through a chapter in history. I wanted to make a difference in elderly lives.

Nursing is a calling for me. Making sure that people receive the best possible care I am able to provide is my most important goal. Hello. I am a patient and experienced caregiver! I started this job back when I was much younger taking care of my grandparents. I enjoy helping my elders and others in this line of work. I like to hear the stories of what life was like for them when they were growing up. I enjoy taking care of elderly people.

Wanted to find my better traits when I started giving back to others, making myself more aware of the ageing process and what can be expected. I connect with people that I can help out as it opens my eyes and heart in different ways. Listening to others life stories how they may differ through the ages and yet how similar they may be. Recommendation from my last clients: She is good at what she does and handles everything in a very thoughtful and humane manner. Our house is always hygienically clean. She was always running up and down the stairs getting things done around the house. We always had heart healthy meals prepared/made. Shes very attentive and caring, and always goes out of her way to do extra for us. We always tell her shes the best. She has an open attitude. We never had to worry about being without care or telling her what to do. Recommendation from my last supervisor: I had no issues with her during our time with us. She is always reliable and on time. When she has called in due to being sick she has always made up her hours with each of her clients so they did not lose time. She has strives to maintain a professional and caring work environment with each of her clients and has always made them a priority. She will be an asset to whomever hires her.
