Mental Health, and provided my grandmother (advanced Alzheimer's Disease & stroke) with a loving and caring home for 5 years. I have also been by my mom's side during her breast cancer treatment (never missed a chemo!). Please note that my services do not include occupational therapy treatment/services, but having this education and experience is immensely helpful in helping your loved one stay safe while in my care. I understand how difficult finding a reliable, competent, and compassionate caregiver can be, and I know the struggles and stresses of caring for a family member! But the reward of knowing that I made an impact in someone's life is my greatest reward. I think what most makes me an excellent caregiver is my patience and passion for good care, the people closest to me say I'm a little too empathetic sometimes even though I can come off as blunt at first impression. What attracted me to being a caregiver was wanting to make sure I was able to take care of the people I love some day. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is the bonds I get to make and the incredible people I meet.
