Everyone I have met, in this life, have told me I most patient person they have met. I been the sick and elderly as long as I could remember, so I know that caring for a love one can be exhausting or even a burden for some. Although, that maybe the case for them, it's different for me, I like to be a ear with capable hands just helping people. I graduated high school and helped my grandparents and mother build our family restaurant.

I enjoy caring for individuals and building up personal relationships, I started to love caregiving after watching my mother care for youth at my school. I've had 5 years of experience so far and cannot wait for more!

I've been a registered nurse for over thirty years with a wide variety of experiences in hospital orthopedics, home health (including hospice), geriatric care in rehab facilities and private duty peds and young adults.

Hello! My name is Kate and I love caring for others! I am married to a wonderful Sheriff Deputy and we have five adorable kiddos. I personally cared for my own Grandmother for four years during her dementia journey. My personal experience gave me great insight and also exposed me to the extreme need for excellent caregivers. I understand the importance of hiring a caring, empathetic, patient, honest and reliable caregiver for your loved one(s). I have cared for many adult and elderly clients, many of whom are experiencing dementia or other neurological disease. I am a kind, cheerful and positive person that loves to smile! I am punctual and always aim to make your loved ones day happier and leave their home/living space tidier. I'm a caregiver and healer by nature! I love to bake, read, take walks/hike, and play games. I'm a habitual student--I love to learn! My medical background gives me an excellent knowledge base (medical assistant & occupational therapy assistant), but my experience and genuine compassion are my biggest assets. I have worked with a wide variety of ages with an equally wide variety of physical/social/mental health needs, including special needs children as a school health aid, OTA at a skilled nursing/long term acute care hospital, medical assistant, co-led a divorce care group at my church, internship at Arapaho Co. Mental Health, and provided my grandmother (advanced Alzheimer's Disease & stroke) with a loving and caring home for 5 years. I have also been by my mom's side during her breast cancer treatment (never missed a chemo!). Please note that my services do not include occupational therapy treatment/services, but having this education and experience is immensely helpful in helping your loved one stay safe while in my care. I understand how difficult finding a reliable, competent, and compassionate caregiver can be, and I know the struggles and stresses of caring for a family member! But the reward of knowing that I made an impact in someone's life is my greatest reward. I have compassion and a heart for those who struggle, whether it be from injury, illness or just the aging process. I am very attentive and observant to the needs of the people that are in my care. I work very hard and am thorough in my duties. I am also, reliable and responsible. From the time I was little I have wanted to be a nurse. That desire has been cultivated through my life and experiences with watching and helping care for both of my grandparents struggle and pass away from cancer. During this process I spent many hours in hospitals and rehab, observing the caregivers they had and being blessed by the good ones. I enjoy the feeling of helping people in their times of their biggest need, whether it be physical or emotional. Feeling like I can make a difference in someone's life is my biggest blessing. I have recently graduated from high school, having all of my college prerequisites done for nursing school and in the process obtained my CNA and have been working with that in a nursing home.

I am a certified nurses assistant with 20yrs of experience with home health care, skilled nursing to include Alzheimers Wing/Hospice and Palliative care. I work full time with Cochlear Americas as a billing specialist. I miss patient care and would love to be able to help out someone in need around my residence.

I have been a care giver for the past 10 years. To be honest I never thought this was a field I would have been this dedicated to, however this is now my passion. I spent the past 10 years working for an assisted/independent living facility and have had the pleasure of helping my residents in all facets of their daily lives. I started working for my facility part time as a resident care assistant. Within my first year I joined on as full time. A couple years later i became the lead floor supervisor. A few more years after that, I also became the business office manager. I was also the back up designee administrator to the facility, which required me to know all aspects of my facility including ADPH (Alabama Department of Health) rules and regulations for my facility. I have worked with PT/OT/SP therapists while they were in my facility. I have also worked with hospice as needed for my residents. I enjoy working with seniors, they have so much to offer.

After losing the majority of my family there was a large void I felt. Our older generations have such a vast wealth of knowledge and experience to share with us if we take the time to listen. I love to be able to provide a service that allows clients to remain as independent as possible in their own homes. I am bi-lingual (French/English) and am a warm, caring, compassionate individual that is able to be flexible and adapt to the changing needs of my clients. One of my proudest accomplishments is knowing that I have been able to provide a service to our seniors letting them know that they are very much a valued part of our society

I have compassion for everyone, I show it by being reliable, having accountability, fulfilling all duties using my time management skills. I respect patients privacy, and I'm very forgiving while always keep a positive demeanor/tone of voice. I started as a caregiver because it's rewarding, and I enjoy providing support for those who need it the most. My proudest achievement to date is getting a 98% on my QMAP test.
