I have always been a caregiver naturally. I love helping others and find it very rewarding. I have worked as a CNA in the past and enjoyed it very much. My daughter became sick and I needed to work from home for awhile and started a daycare for income. Since moving to Hawaii I would like to move forward with my ultimate goal which is to return to school to complete my training to become a Registered Nurse. My CNA license is expired but I will be renewing it this summer. I really look forward to meeting new people and continuing my caregiving career. For fun I love to write poetry and short stories and do anything outdoors. Crafting comes naturally to me and I love learning DIY projects.

I'm am currently working for Family Programs Hawaii and am seeking part time home health care employment. Night shifts are the best availability but also willing to work weekends and holidays. I love my job as a caregiver. I became interested in becoming apart of the medical field when I started caring for my mom at the age of 8 years old due to a stroke. It gave me a feel of importance. Hey guys! I'm not exactly good at talking about myself, so bear with me please. I'm a hard worker. I love being able to help whenever and however I can, I'm patient, caring, cool headed,and selfless. I can work well independently or in a group, I'm an effective communicator, granted..I can be shy at first sometimes, but it doesn't stop me from getting the job done to the very best of my abilities. I never really considered this type of work throughout high school...but then during my senior year I took CNA classes through Sweet water Health Education and fell in love. My long term goal is to be an RN in the hospital, but being a CNA is a good place to start. It's a rewarding job. I'm currently waiting to take the state exam for my license, so I'm really just a Home Health Aide. I think what really got me hooked to the job, was when we did our clinical training at Life Care Center. Sure there are times when the job is hard or just plain sucks...but I love it. Being able to help them or just trying to make them smile is awesome.
