I have always been a caregiver naturally. I love helping others and find it very rewarding. I have worked as a CNA in the past and enjoyed it very much. My daughter became sick and I needed to work from home for awhile and started a daycare for income. Since moving to Hawaii I would like to move forward with my ultimate goal which is to return to school to complete my training to become a Registered Nurse. My CNA license is expired but I will be renewing it this summer. I really look forward to meeting new people and continuing my caregiving career. For fun I love to write poetry and short stories and do anything outdoors. Crafting comes naturally to me and I love learning DIY projects.

I'm am currently working for Family Programs Hawaii and am seeking part time home health care employment. Night shifts are the best availability but also willing to work weekends and holidays. I am more flexible with dayshift during the summers. I have been CNA trained and certified and have had over 15 years experience working in Hilo medical center and home health care.

Ashley is the name. I have been a caregiver for 8+ years and have always been passionate about my job. I love what I do because I am naturally an empathetic person which allows me to do my job with optimal patient satisfaction. I plan on furthering my career and graduate with my RN. I am dedicated, hardworking and also confident in my skills to get the job done.

I am an older gentleman that has had experience taking care of my mother whom has had multiple surgeries. I have also helped take care of my father whom has cancer. I am easy to get along with and have attention to details and the needs of the person(s) I am taking care of. Very reliable as well.

I love my job as a caregiver. I became interested in becoming apart of the medical field when I started caring for my mom at the age of 8 years old due to a stroke. It gave me a feel of importance. I enjoy caring for others who need help. At the end of my day I love looking back knowing its another person I helped. It truly does make a difference.

I grew up in a family where everyone took care of each other especially grandparents. I lost my older sister to cancer. Doctor said she only have about five to six month time. Not wanting to go to hospice, I care for my sister at home and gave all I got to care for her and give her as much comfort as I can. My experience with all my clients they are always taken by my smile. What makes me a good caregiver is a big heart for the elderly who listen, observe and attend accordingly to the needs. I attend to clients like I attend to my sister or anyone in my family. Makes it more personal and special. My goal is to make every client experience comfort in their own home, able to be trustworthy, honest and a peace of mindto the ckient knowing that they are actually being care for. That is what I would want for me if I ever in need of a caregiver.

I chose to be a Caregiver because I have compassion to help people who are in need of help. It takes a strong minded and loving person to work in this profession. I believe everyday is INDEPENDENCE DAY. I am here to help my residents and allow them to do as much as they can for themselves. Their dignity is of importance to myself as well as my resident.
