I enjoy taking care of the elderly! I enjoy hearing their stories and their job history! I have been in this work for 5+ years!

Something I've always took pride in is how caring I am towards people. I have always been empathetic and really dive in to conversations with people too get to know them. I am compassionate. I have always been a team player but I also believe in being a leader. I've put a lot of thought into being a healthcare worker, because it is not an easy job. But I've also thought about how many people need help in being cared for. I love the job that I do. I believe the most personal achievement I am proud of is getting so close to my patients. I've connected with a lot of people. I remember I had a patient that I took care of for almost a year and I really connected with her. After some time she got really sick and was soon going to pass. I met her family and asked them if I could sing to her and they let me ( I sang to her a lot). Little did I know that they were not going to be able to have a service for her. When we were done singing and praising they all just cried and thanked me. They told me that they weren't going to be able to have service and it was as if God brought the service through me as a vessel. I believe that was my greatest accomplishment in this job.

I am a very outgoing person. I love making peoples day better. And my day starts with a smile on my face. I love taking care of people and making sure they stay in great health.

My name is Breanna I'm 22 years old and I have a soft spot for caring for people who aren't capable of caring for their self, from a very young age I knew I wanted to care for people when I started doing my fathers home dialysis. I have been a caregiver off and on for 20 years. I first got into the field as a DSP when my oldest child was born with autism so I could learn how to help him be as independent as possible. When he went to school I got my CNA and worked in nursing homes until I married and had my other children at which time I became a stay at home mom. . After my other 3 children were in school I went back to work as a Home Health Aide and DSP. My favorite part of being a caregiver is seeing the person I'm working with gain or retain skills that would be otherwise be lost or unknown.
