Listening to people tell you about who they are and what they have done over their life time. I had the opportunity to take care of an elderly gentleman during his last days and making his last days as enjoyable and pleasant and possible. I think of him and miss him everyday. He died two months before his 100th birthday. He was an amazing man. I believe that I not only comforted and touched his life but he touched mine. May he rest in peace.

What makes me a a great caregiver is that I actually care. I love so genuinely and I am devoted to being whatever and whoever my client needs me to be. I enjoy the feeling of helping others. My last 2 clients I had at my last caregiving job became family and I went out of my way to let them know and feel loved. I go out of my way to make their day to day lives easier and fuller.

Taking care of others has always been a part of my life. I helped raise my two younger brothers and cared for my mother throughout my teenage years. Those experiences showed me how meaningful it is to be there for others and inspired me to pursue caregiving. What I enjoy most is being able to make a difference in someone's life, even in small ways. I love building relationships with people and knowing that my support can bring comfort, companionship, and peace of mind to them and their families. One achievement I am especially proud of is helping raise my two brothers while also caring for my mother and managing household responsibilities. Taking on those roles at such a young age taught me resilience, compassion, and the value of hard work, and it helped shape me into the person I am today.
