When I was 15 my grandpa died from ALS and I decided I wanted to be a care giver. At 18 years old I got my first job in health care at a group home with individuals who were developmentally delayed. I worked a bit in an assisted living and realized that I had a passion for geriatrics. I have experience with cerebral palsy, diabetes, autism, hospice care, non verbal and dead clients. I have excellent companionship skills. I find myself to be hard working and I have excellent people skills. I find 1 on 1 time to be very important. Everybody has a story to tell and everybody deserves to be heard.
