Born with a servants heart and raised to be a leader. My entire life I've had the heart for all of those around me and wanting to be able to affect their lives in a positive way. I enjoy knowing that on good and bad days that I'm able to provide ways to improve or help somones day go easier and better. I've always been a hard worker and forever willing to learn new things.

I was a licensed CNA from 2004 to 2019. I became certified when I was just 17 years old and I have loved helping people my whole life. I have worked in skilled nursing facilities as well as in-home settings. Since 2008, I have cared for many local clients in their homes and helped them with everything from daily hygiene, shopping, appointments, cooking, cleaning, etc. I have experience with the young and the elderly. Helping people and making sure they are safe and have what they need is my passion.

I have been a medication technician (CMT) for four years, I administer medications per facility, state and federal law/guidelines by practicing inside my scope. I am also insulin & CPR certified by the state of Missouri and American Heart association. I am comfortable with administering insulin medication, subQ and orally. I am a nursing candidate at Mineral Area College, I have had ECG training along with the knowledge of A&P, Microbiology, Medical Terminology I & II, so I have a good grasp and understanding on how the medications and insulin works and what signs & symptoms to watch for. I was a C.N.A for 16 years and performed all duties of a certified nurses aide to allowable state and federal guidelines. I assisted with ADL's per family, staff and patient request. I have taken care of family members, like my grandmother until she passed when she was diagnosed with cancer in 2017. I have been witness to horrible diseases, genetic and acquired. I have held the hands of people ready to cross over and begin their next journey into the afterlife. Caring for others can sometimes be challenging because people are hard to please, but it's those of us who keep trying and find a way to pacify others that separates us from the rest. Im Kayla im 22 and i believe my mission in life is to care for others. I cared extensively for my grandmother through the stuggle with cancer and my love for helping others has grown ever since. I'm a very happy soul who loves tolend a listening ear, shoulder to cry on and a hand to hold. I enjoy keeping those in need comfortable by helping with even the most private and personal need while still letting them have their have independent and an opinion when possible. Making sure they don't lose confidence or privacy is a top priority but also making sure all need are met and every issure cared for. I believe there is always a way to get what needs to be cared for done without the person cared for feeling embarrassed or bossed around. Everyone deserves respect.

I have been a CNA since I was 16! My mother is a nurse and I followed in her steps. I am a mother of a 10 year old boy that happens to be my biggest accomplishment in life. I love to meet new people and new experiences. I have my BLSC.(CPR) I also have my food Handling Certificate and food alergin certificate.

I became a CNA to help the elderly and to be there for them when needed. I grew up around this type of job and became a passion for me. I truly enjoy taking care of people. I enjoy the stories they have and their families. I am very proud to be a CNA I love being able to take care of people

I pride myself on always being dependable, honest, and hard working. These are traits that I've acquired from starting work at a young age and the way I was raised. The most intriguing part of caregiving is simply in the name for me. To ensure that someone is being correctly assisted and their needs tended to, gives a feeling of accomplishment and satisfaction. I also enjoy thoroughly getting to know the person I am working with/for. I believe when you form a more emotional and personal connection it can simply make the days more enjoyable and raises cooperation. The most relevant achievement that would apply to this question isn't an ordinary achievement; when I worked at Sparta Terrace (CILA House) I loved singing to the residents and having everyone join in and just cut loose to have fun for a bit. I feel as if I would be a perfect candidate for a position such as this.

I worked as a CNA since 2001. BLS Certified. I've worked in Nursing homes, Hospitals, Psychiatric facility, Assisted Living and Memory Care facility, Home health and Hospice care. I'm very compassionate and care for my residents/clients as they were my own family member.

While in High School, I had worked as a Dietary Aide at a local nursing home. It was there that I decided to become a CNA. I enjoyed working with the residents and knew that I wanted to do more with the elderly. I have worked in four very different environments as a CNA; home care, assisted living, nursing homes, and an ALZ.Locked unit. I enjoyed every minute of it, and became very close to some of the residents. My first position as a CNA was with a sweet couple, Bill and Helen. It was private in home care. My duties included cooking for them, insuring they ate properly, seeing to their baths, light house keeping and laundry. After a few weeks, Helen would greet me at the door with a big hug. Then we would pick out her clothes, see to her shower and she always insisted on “helping” me. It gave her a sense of pride and self-worth to help. After 10 months with them, Helen's medical status required her to return to the nursing home. Even after this, Bill would call me to help with her doctor appointments, or just to give me updates on Helen. This profile asked me to list the achievement I am most proud of, and this is the one that brings a sense of accomplishment and pride.
