I am a mother of 2, I also just adopted my foster daughter and my 5 month old grandson . I'm a DSP worker for the state . I work with adults and children with disabilities. I love spending time with my children and sisters . We go bowling , drive in movies and freeman lake for family time .I'm a busy woman but with the right clients and constant schedule I'm able to take care of myself family and clients. I always been a caregiver since I was two , I'm the oldest of 7. My over all goal is to open a residential agency . I became a private caregiver due to previous experience, such as working as a CNA in the past , some rewarding but working as a CNA under others I come to realize that other providers may not have the same passion as you and is only there to receive a check . I'm more passionate due to be being raised in the foster care system

What makes me a great caregiver is that I am very responsible, dependable and work my best to make the one I am taking care of feel special and happy every day I care for them. What attracted me to becoming a Caregiver was that I was needing a job since I had just moved back to my hometown and filled out an application with Kelly Girls, an agency that hired people for different jobs. I was called to care for an 80 year + lady and enjoyed it. It was not what I went to College for, but continued to do both working in Administrative work and then part-time as a Caregiver. The thing that I enjoy most about being a Caregiver is the stories of those I care for. There is so much history that they have to share...even those from different parts of the Country and learning how different things were from then to now. My Mother was born in the Depression years and experienced the years of WWII, where 3 of her brothers were part of. It's the elderly who helped build the life around us and them being nurtured by their parents to give us a better tomorrow. I believe the most personal achievement I can say I am proud of is that I was taught good work ethics by my Mom, who was a farm girl. I started working at age 11 and have worked many different types of work and am a fast learner. I paid for my own College and worked at times 2 jobs to pay for my own apartment. In the Caregiving field, I have been taught some things that a Nurse is qualified for, but taught by the family of their loved one how to do certain tasks. I am very respectful of people and their property.

I have a lot experience working with seniors,, when i take care them i feel like they are part of my family, i have patience i give them security, i treat them with respect y try they feel comfortable with me.

I'm very patient, calm, easygoing and respectful of every human being. I have extensive knowledge of dementia/Alzheimer's disease. It may sound cliche, but I absolutely love helping people! What I enjoy most about caregiving is the bond that develops between the caregiver and client. What I'm most proud of is making a positive difference in people's lives!

Being patient and understanding is first when it comes to caregiving. I love to listen and do anything I can to make my clients day smoother. I was a caregiver to my grandmother with dementia. I cared for my partially paralyzed mother, and I now care for my mentally disabled brother. I also worked with special needs children at the Green County Schools. I enjoy caring for others and helping out as much as I can. I'm proud that I have the experience to do a job that I love so well.

I've been working in the nursing field for over 18 yrs I love what I do I also did home health for 6yrs I'm currently in school studying for my LPN but I'm not stopping there going for my RN . What I enjoy the most is taking care of people

I have a heart for seniors and always enjoy talking with them. I find it a great opportunity to the help the elderly. They deserve some extra attention and love. It gives me a feeling of satisfaction and warms my heart when you see that the smallest things you do for them is appreciated. I been working ever since I have moved to KY from Germany 32 years ago and have established my life here in the U.S.
