I was a CNA years ago and I have also taken care of several family members. Especially in the end stages of their life. I started with taking care of a MS patient at 15 years old an then went on to work in nursing homes. I was trained in the Alzheimer's unit. And then once I had my son I stayed home for a few years to take care of him and let my CNA license go. But then was needed to take care of grandma while she was dying from Stomach cancer and non Hopkins lymphoma. Then my grandpa after her he had prostate cancer and then kidney failure. Then my other grandma also. Giving meds an bathing while In bed an taking her teeth out an cleaning them and also making sure she drank and ate. Reading to her and listening to Allen Jackson gospel music. Me an her both loved his gospel cds. We would also talk about God. church is something I'm very active in. Im also a member of the praise team and it is very important for me to be able to share that with others. I have plenty of experience with in home care an just being there so ppl are not alone. And if we can share the love of Christ while we share our time together is even more so a blessing. Im a mother of a now 13 yr old son and I've been with my husband for almost 18 years now.

I am very passionate about caring for seniors. They bring so much knowledge and love and that's all they really ask for in return. I love being able to bring a smile to there face and giving relief to there family knowing that there love one is being taken care of.
