Hi. I started taking care of my Grandpa when I was 14 years of age helping my mother.. He went into an assisted living community in 1998. I wanted to stay near him so I started working in the community where he lived. Age 18 I had a nurse tell me I have what it takes to become a nurse..He overheard her telling me and that is when I became a part of the field in helping care of the aging.. My Grandpa was a big influence on me and I belive giving them a part of you back. When I was younger and my parents were at work I had my grandpa or grandma take care of me and now i just want to give them something back..

I believe that my best personality traits are kindness and compassion. I have always had a special place in my heart for senior citizens and for those who have developmental challenges. I absolutely love giving companionship to those who might not otherwise have any. I love to see the smile on someones face when you share a special one on one moment with them. That means the world to me! I am personally proud of the fact that I was a stay at home mother and was able to raise two amazing and successful children.
