Im 48yrs old I just moved to Lexington, Mo from TX. I have been a caregiver since 2008 and have done hospice since 2013. I love my job. I am a people person. I love caring for people.

I am a 39 year old mother of 4 wonderful children. I am a medication tech and CNA at an assisted living facility in the Kansas City metro. I love my residents and my job. Everyday i get to go to my job is defiently an honor to me. My residents make a difference in my life everyday.

I have been a CAREGiver for 17 years. I am an easy going, happy, hard working person who loves to make a difference in the lives of others. I enjoy being to make a difference in someone's life everytime I work. I am most proud of being a Father of 6 wonderful children and a Grandfather to my 2 beautiful Granddaughters!

When I was young I lived on a dead end street. The only people on the street were seniors. I took it upon myself as a 6 year old child to go visit them. My parents also thought that was "different" for a child of that age. That trait always stayed with me. Seniors are of are our past and present. I have always had the gift for talking and taking care of those who need someone, particularly the older people of our society. When my grandmother was in nursing home. I got a position as a nurses aid so I could be close to her. And thus my love grew even more, if that was possible to take care of people. The thing I love most about being a caregiver is making someone's day and seeing them smile. My personal achievement that I am most proud of is the look on someone's face when I just sit and talk to them about their past.

I am a very outgoing person and enjoy taking care of individuals who need it. I love helping with quality of life and individuality. I enjoy being a caregiver because I am very passionate about helping clients live there lives to their fullest ability. Being a caregiver makes me happy and content in my career choice, knowing that I'm able to assist someone who needs it. I have worked in healthcare for 4 years and am currently in nursing school to continue in the career I love the most.

I became a caregiver because I believe we all deserve quality care in times of sickness and end of life. I have been a licensed care giver since 2006 but my first job in health was in 1999. I am CPR certified and I currently have an EMT license as well as a CNA. I am experienced in almost all area of care. I would love to take care of your loved one in your home.

What drives me to be a care giver is not only because its a job its a okace were i feel like i belong taking care of others who needs some one who ubderstand their time of needs and when its apporerate. To me care giving is one of the best jobs i have done in my life. That being said im going to school to become a RN.

I became a caregiver because my passion in life is serving others and helping them feel God's love for them. I feel we all have things to learn from one another. Others consider me to be a compassionate person, detail oriented, someone who anticipates other's needs, and kind in my interactions.

I'm not sure what led me to start my first job at Heartland Residential Care but that was were I found my nact and love as far as a job. U found it so rewarding to be able to help someone whom without me couldn't do it themselves. But in 2010 I got breast cancer. And as I was going thru the process of treatment, I was so sick but I had no one to help care for me. I realized how important just how wonderful it would have been to have a little help. So now I've been cancer free soon it will be six yrs. I have #1 realized how important it is to have someone whom you can depend on and #2 I feel I beat cancer and it's time to make my life count. If I can just help one person out there that needs a helping hand. Whether it is maybe cooking them a meal, cleaning the floors or just be an ear for someone to talk to. I want to be able to come home from my workday feeling that just maybe I've made a difference in someone's life that day. It's a satisfaction that I just can't explain.
