Hi! My name is Jessi. I have been working as an "official" care giver for about 10 yrs. Being the oldest sibling and cousin of my family as well as being married for 17 yrs. With two teens, it feels much longer! I have worked in assisted living facilities and private homes. I've cared for many clients with several different limitations. I'm 24 years old, I have 5 years experience caring for seniors, I'm CPR certified, I have my pca certificate, I have a valid driver's license. I also have my own transportation and car insurance. I drive a mini van so it's easy to transport clients. Non smoker, drug free can pass a background check and drug screening. I look forward to working with you!

I am a genuinely sincere person who enjoys helping others. I work hard and listen carefully. I am reliable and have a firm understanding of how important reliability is to those expecting you to be there when you say and do what you say. I have worked as a Social Worker in health care for many years and have the ability to assess a home environment and see where the needs are to assist adequately and make helpful recommendations to promote independence. My husband has his own business and I help to manage that business but miss being able to work with others. I think it is fulfilling when you have the ability to assist someone and make their day just a little easier. I enjoy seeing the transformation on an individuals face when you arrive to help with their needs and they seem worn out and discouraged but after you have helped them, listened to what they had to say, and validated them by doing things their way then you see them energized and smiling. That is the most rewarding feeling. I have several personal achievements that I am proud of I went to college and have a Bachelor's degree and did that while raising children, I have helped my granddaughter achieve her goals to go to college and become a nurse, and I have had a successful happy marriage for 31 years now.

I've always wanted to be a nurse/caregiver

I was raised around seniors all my life visiting nursing homes my mom worked at and volunteering. After closing my personal care business I wanted to do work to make a difference. I became a caregiver and can truly say I love what I do. My clients are like family to me and it gives me great joy to help them with all of their needs. I go above and beyond at all times providing support, kindness and excellent care. In addition to my work as a caregiver I often volunteer at my mothers senior community helping her neighbors with whatever they may need. I consider them family and love to give back to the community.

I have always been the kind of person that just throughly enjoys helping others as much as I can. I'm very outgoing and goal oriented. What attracted me to being a caregiver was my first initial experience with it and being able to develop relationships with my clients. I love putting smiles onto people and making their day as good as possible! I am proud to be CPR/AED/First Aide certified with at least four years of experience under my belt and hope to have many more!
