Hello, my name is Brittany. I am a single mom and I have 2 kids. I have grown up in Habersham, Georgia. I am a very outgoing person who loves sports. I am easy going and easy to get along with. My dream since I was a little girl was to become a nurse one day so I can help take care of loved ones. I love helping take care of people. I have been a CNA for 4 years now and also CPR certified. I have worked with home health, elderly in nursing homes/ assisted livings, Med Surg floor in a hospital and also in home Healthcare where I stay with the patient at their residence for the hours needed. I have over 6 years of caregiving experience. I have worked in various places like Hospitals, Nursing homes and in home care. From 1999 to 2005 I was a Certified Nursing Assistant and went to a 2 year college to get my Associates degree in nursing, however due to hardships I did not finish and get my degree. I took a break from nursing for over 10 years to pursue a different career in retail Management. I just recently within the past year decided to get back into care giving/nursing.

In middle school I would always volunteer to help out handicap children. My uncle is handicap so I was raised to have a caring heart and look after others. It's my passion. I've worked with children and elderly before as well.

I had worked for Transylvania Regional Hospital for nearly 15 years when the economy forced them to lay off 38 of us aides who were "Home Health Aides" out in Transylvania and Henderson counties. I was a prn aide, working an average of 10 to 30 hours per week, depending on the need of TRH. I cared for a variety of patients around both counties. My duties included total patient care, including baths, skin care and monitoring, taking vital signs, monitoring blood sugar, meal preparation, light housekeeping and grocery shopping.
