What makes me a great caregiver is that I pay attention to details. I do exactly what I'm told, asked and also give advice according to my expertise and I tell the truth about what is needed when it matters. I first started working with elders within my monastery taking care of their basic needs and taking them back and forth to doctor's appointments and following their doctors care of plan. That transmitted to my professional work life as a certified nursing aide, as I work in the nursing homes and also in private home settings. It brings me joy to see those who are in need of help receive the assistance that they need without taking away their dignity and also giving them the extra help that's necessary.... at the same time allowing them to do what they can for themselves. I have a broad range going from helping those with terminal illnesses all the way to those who just need extra assistance around the house. There is no job too big or too small for me to do.

I'm a single parent with two children that are on the Spectrum. Being a caregiver is the most self-rewarding goal in my life. And my whole life I always gravitated towards people in need with assistance. I am out going in nature and love camping.

I fully believe we all have a calling in life. This happens to be mine. I've been a certified nurses aide since I was 18 years old. I've worked with all facets in which the job could entail. Private and in house facilities. Dementia/Alzheimer's - the blanket of it and it's branches, quad and paraplegic inflicted folks. Colostomy care as well as wound care. The list goes on. However, whatever the aliment, or the the age, we are all people, with feelings and tempers and day to day challenges. Sitting down with someone, hearing stories about their loves and accomplishments, simply giving them time and attention is what I see is most important. The smiles, hugs and love make my job worth it each and every day. I would be happy to sit down and meet you, your family and loved one and see if I am the right fit to help them carry on, when sometimes life seems like it's taking simple tasks away from them and comfort and ease them into a new chapter. I can offer 24/7 live-in care in my beautiful home. I have a full apartment downstairs has full kitchen, living/bedroom and full handicap bathroom with double sliding glass doors out on patio overlooking beautiful property and mountain views. Have worked at several Nursing homes in area for almost 5 years. Also did home care for my Mom who passed in May 2017 in a special apartment built for her with all safety features in my own home . Also took care of Neighbor's Dad in my home who passed recently. Both needed 24/7 care. I have cared for many patients at nursing homes with numerous physical and mental disabilities.
