I am a 44 year old woman who enjoys taking care of people. I have a heart of gold and I thrive when it comes to helping people. I love to cook from scratch and baking what they are aloud to have. I have knowledge on a few different diets. I have a photography business that I started this year and I have been licensed for almost 20 years. I also raise 4 children which my youngest does the same job as me. I am very proud of my children too. I have a husband that has a blood clot in his brainstem and he has mini strokes all the time. I take care of him when that happens too.

Even as a little girl I have always enjoyed helping people any way I could. I have always been drawn to the medical field in some way. I started as a PCA helping with medications, insulin, wound care, some personal care. I then became a CNA and have worked with many wonderful people. From helping with basic care needs, to being someone they could share company with. To full care needs. Dressing, dinning, bathing, physical therapy, helping transfer from sitting ro standing. Wheelchair to bed. I love being able to make someone smile in anyway I can.

I am a natural caregiver as caring for others is what my purpose in life is. I care deeply for those around me and strive to encourage others to maintain a sense of independence through empowerment. I love being able to help and have been working with L'Arche as a caregiver for 12 years now. My favorite aspects of being a caregiver are around meals and hospitality. I like setting up a warm, welcoming space and making a delicious and healthy meal for others. I have two children that I love sharing my life with at the moment and am thrilled to be the one at home with them. I am very spiritual and like to find the gifts of those around me and nourish them. I love to read, sing, and play games (word games especially), but mostly I love really taking the time to listen to someone and get to know him/her well.

Becoming a caregiver for me comes from a deep compassion to help others. Knowing that I can make a difference in someones day just from lending a hand, an ear, or a shoulder is enjoyable for me. My name is Jada. I have a little over 3 years of experience as an STNA in nursing homes and assisted living facilities. I prefer 3rd shift since that's typically what I'm used to and it's easier with my daily schedule. I am very cari kind-hearted genuine Young Lady. I don't look at caregiving as just a job in my eyes you can't it takes a certain person a certain heart. I've always gotten along with any client I have had no problem I am there for them and to help make their life and families lives easier. Getting older and not being able to do things on their own anymore can be frustrating I've listened to many stories about it, that's another thing listening actually letting it known what they have to say matters because it does.
